JFD232AQ0: This one has a story as interesting as the piece itself. When I bought the Daunis collection, there were two or three pieces there that had every appearance of being from the Llamas Quarry, but since there weren't many references to specimens from that locality during its period of active exploitation, I had to consult with José Ramón García and he accredited what interests me most about this specimen: that it was a clear example of what came out of the Llamas Quarry when it was still being worked

JFD233AQ0: Although it may not look like it in the photo, this is an overwhelming piece, for the size of the crystals, for their sharpness and perfection and, above all, for the numerous oriented inclusions of natural hydrocarbons inside the large crystals of Fluorite. We are used to seeing this type of inclusion inside Berbes quartzes, but much less in their fluorites. The piece is a floater and, in my opinion, spectacular.

BMR70AQ0: Very sharp Boleite crystal, with a little limonite matrix. Its very well defined faces have brilliant luster and a very deep color. The crystal is of high quality for the deposit, from which it is very rare to be able to obtain a specimen.
The label, from an important European collection, has been applied to both of the pieces into which we split the original piece, as previously the two crystals seemed a bit lost.

The specimen has been reinforced to avoid the separation of the crystals from each other due to local changes in climate that cause the clay between the crystals to expand and contract and end up drying out. This procedure is common for this type of Aragonite and it is generally accepted for specimens with very large aerial crystals.

TBF46AQ0: Two contact twins, one of them clearly dominant, a complete floater of very sharp Calcite crystals, very aerial and flattened. Transparent and a uniform yellow color. The specimen comes from a known but little publicized Canary Island locality from which previously no finds of this type had been made.

THF66AQ0: Crystal group, on matrix, of contact twins of Calcite, complete, very aerial and with very sharp crystal forms. Transparent and a uniform yellow color. The specimen comes from a well-known but not very publicized locality in the Canary Islands, where previously no such finds had been made.
Alain Martaud had kept it in his personal collection, from the selection he made when he first got these very unusual calcites. We will send the Alain's collection label to the buyer of the piece.

NFG88AQ0: A novelty for Spanish mineralogy (see: La extraordinaria paragénesis de minerales de mercurio de Usagre)
Crystals of Calomel with an adamantine luster, some of them clearly dominant and easily visible, and with Eglestonite crystals, a mineral species, product of alteration of other mercury minerals, an element that is also present in the specimen as small drops of native Mercury that hold together thanks to their high surface tension. The quality of this sample is exceptional, compared to other specimens from the same discovery. Both of the mercury halide species have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
These minerals are photosensitive, blackening easily when exposed to sunlight and even under the light of a lamp, so we recommend keeping them out of the reach of light.

A group of Eglestonite crystals -an alteration mineral, product of other mercury minerals-, on matrix, green-colored and translucent. They are accompanied by small Calomel crystals with an adamantine luster and small drops of Mercury that hold together thanks to their high surface tension. The quality and color of this sample is exceptional, compared to other specimens from the same discovery. Both species of mercury halides have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
These minerals are photosensitive, easily blackening in sunlight and even in the light of a lamp, so we recommend keeping them out of the light.

The specimen comes from the collection of Ignacio Gaspar Sintes (number FLu-34) and was previously in that of Raúl Sanabria Orellana. We will send the buyer the labels from both collections.

A specimen that represents, apart from its evident aesthetics and its world novelty, a complete treatise on mineralogy, starting with a cobalt-bearing Dolomite (which has since disappeared during the process), followed by successive substitutions in which more copper was added, leaving as a final result Kolwezite-Malachite in pseudomorphic shapes after crystals of the initial cobalt-bearing Dolomite, and greenish blue Chrysocolla pseudomorphs after Baryte, with a stage of Malachite growth, also pseudomorphic after Baryte.
The discovery of this morphological and chemical complexity will soon be reported more extensively in an upcoming article in the French magazine Le Règne Minéral.
