Parallel group of prismatic crystals well defined, bright and having well defined terminations. The matrix is formed by tabular crystals of Siderite.On the back side is a minor crystal, probable Scheelite, visible with the UV light. Curiously, Scheelite is a scarce species at the Panasqueira Mine.

NB6E6: Ferberite with Siderite

Very well defined, floater crystals of Ferberite. There is also some Mica and Siderite with them. Given their brilliance and perfection you can consider them to be one of the better quality Ferberites from the Panasqueira mines.

AC51AB8: Ferberite with Siderite and Muscovite

Ferberite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with parallel growths, with very well defined forms and with widely developed pyramidal faces, rare for samples from Panasqueira. They are very bright and are on a Siderite matrix, with Muscovite and small Arsenopyrite crystals. A classic of great quality for the locality.

Ferberite crystal, on matrix, very aerial, with very well marked parallel polycrystalline growths, lustrous, and partially covered by lenticular crystals of Siderite and small cubic Pyrite crystals.

TT47AB8: Ferrian Köttigite with Pharmacosiderite

Centered aggregate of Köttigite crystals with very well defined terminations and a deep bluish-green color. It is on matrix, with microscopic coatings of yellowish Pharmacosiderite. The Raman analysis indicates values in the Köttigite-Parasymplesite series and concludes it is an iron bearing Köttigite. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Globular growth of yellow Ferrierite, with small aggregates of fibrous Mordenite and small crystals of Analcime on a matrix rich with Calcite.
This specimen was photographed for the ‘what’s new at Munich 2008’ section of the magazine ‘Mineralien Welt’ and appears on page 11 of number 1/2009.

TRM87AP0: Ferrierite-Mg

Fine specimen on matrix of Ferrierite-Mg (a zeolite uncommon in quality specimens) with globular growths of fine lamellar crystals, transparent, with an excellent reddish orange color and with small unidentified crystals (probably Quartz) on the surface of one of the spheres. This type of specimen, as well as the locality, seem already destined to become classics for the species.

Very defined and separate globular growths on a concretion of white Calcite that coat the rocky matrix. The especially deep orange color belongs to the magnesian species, even considering that the sample has not been analyzed.

EE70M2: Ferrierite-Mg with Calcite

Excellent Ferrierite specimen from the most classic and best-known locality for this rare zeolite. It shows globular, near spherical, growths with a nice orange color that contrasts on a matrix covered by white globular Calcite crystals.

Two prismatic crystals with a very good definition of forms, in which the terminal faces have a good development, a very unusual feature. At the same time the crystals are aerial, standing out on the matrix.

JFD198AP4: Ferro-actinolite with Plagioclase, Pyroxene (variety uralite) and Pyrite

With its rich parageneses, the Carlés Mine was, during its active years, yielding a great variety of mineral species, with a predominance of piroxenes. This piece is such a specimen, with Ferro-actinolite in brilliant crystals, the 'uralite' pseudomorphing pyroxenes and a Plagioclase Feldspar which, together with massive Pyrite, completes the combo.

TT87AL4: Ferrokesterite with Andorite on Pyrite

Polycrystalline group, quite sharp compared to the usual for the species of Ferrokësterite, a rare copper, iron and tin sulfide, associated with a lighter metallic gray Andorite crystal. On a matrix covered with small, very bright crystals of Pyrite.
The specimen comes from the Robert J. Noble collection, whose label, which states that it previously came from Alfredo Petrov (Tucson 2009), we will send to the buyer.

Fluellite its a rare mineral that is only found in millimetre sized crystals. Its color is usually white, so we cannot expect great beauty for this mineral. In this case the Wavellite helps by adding contrast and giving some esthetics to this rare mineral which is hard to find it in good specimens.
