Calcite.
EJL2AO1: Calcite
Matrix group of complex equant Calcite crystals, with very sharp scalenohedron and flattened rhombohedron forms, very aerial, translucent and lustrous. The specimen has a light pink hue, is of high quality and is very different from what is generally known from this locality, since it comes from the first very superficial prospecting in an area relatively far from the current workings. As an added documentary detail, the name of the person who found it, a miner named Lucien Schaguene, has been preserved. Exceptional for the locality.
