Group of doubly terminated crystals, one of them clearly dominant, extraordinarily flattened because the accentuated growth of two opposite faces of the rhombohedron. The specimen is absolutely clear and has, as a curiosity, some slightly curved faces. At the same time, we suspect, due the position of the small faces on the top, it is twinned.

Group of Rutile crystals, one of them with a good size. On a Limonite matrix that resembles a conglomerate. Rutile crystals display a perfect example of the classic cyclic twin. Very bright, striated faces and deep red color transparency and reflections visible under an intense light. Although the first locality given in the market was D.R. of Congo, we can give the correct locality as Zambia, close to the D.R. of Congo border.

The Myanmar Spinels are well known for their quality, color and transparency. We buy quite a few and from time to time we come across the rare cases where the Spinel is a twin. This is the case here, but this time the twin is more complex (crystallographically speaking) than the other ones we see. Unusual.

The Myanmar Spinels are well known for their quality, color and transparency. We buy quite a few and from time to time we come across the rare cases where the Spinel is a twin. In this case the twin is very clear and its form very well defined. The color is also magnificent and it is accompanied by other un-twinned Spinel crystals that are also of a good color.

Single crystal neatly twinned on the law typical for the species. It is implanted on a white Calcite matrix, is transparent and has an especially intense and uniform red color. A miniature very representative of the species.

Twinned Stannite with Zinkenite.
TA53G9: Twinned Stannite with Zinkenite
Twinned, giant (for the species) and sharp crystals of Stannite. It came from the finds of old miners in the famous San José Mine. The sample is exceptional both for the quality of Stannite and its esthetics and for the presence of acicular crystals of Zinkenite.
The specimen's photo has been reviewed and published in the magazine ‘Rocks & Minerals’ on page 460 in the volume 81, number 6, and in the magazine ‘extraLAPIS - English edition’ on page 31, number 12, "Bolivia".
