Parallel growths of Strontianite crystals with a short prismatic habit, some of them doubly terminated, between transparent and translucent, and lustrous. On matrix, with rhombohedral Magnesite crystals. An Austrian classic.
The specimen, which had been in the collection of the Museum of the School of Mines in Paris, passed by exchange to the collection of Francesco S. Stoppani (record 1088), whose label we will send to the buyer and which shows the date of the exchange (1976). As with many of the specimens in the aforementioned collection, this one is of good quality for the locality.

Parallel aggregate, on a Magnesite matrix, of stacked Strontianite crystals with the typical hexagonal twin shape. The crystals are translucent and have a color between pinkish and yellowish. The sample is an Austrian classic and it is with a Franz Lammer collection label with manuscript notes by Joaquín Folch. We will send the label to the buyer.

Strontioginorite.

Fairly new at Munich in 2014: one of the rare borates found in the occasionally prolific Kohnstein quarry. The crystals are extraordinarily sharp, lustrous, colorless, completely transparent and very large for the species, and they are on matrix. Though reluctant to make value judgments, we have to say that this specimen is probably among the best for the species from any locality.

Strontium rich Aragonite.
SF48AB1: Strontium rich Aragonite
Pale green spheroidal growths that, in section, show a radial structure with concentric color zones that vary between green, more or less clear, on the border and shades between yellow and yellowish-green in the central areas. Although we have not done the analysis, these samples have been traditionally recognized as strontium rich Aragonite. As in so many specimens in this collection, the sample is of great quality for the locality.

Crystal comprised of the hexagonal prism, a much flattened pyramid and the pinacoid. The crystal, with a small matrix of microcrystalline Calcite, is notable for its intense yellow color. As usual when the identification is uncertain we will provide an analysis to the buyer of the specimen. In this case to prove that it is Sturmanite and not Ettringite.
The sample is with an autographed label from the Desmond Sacco collection that we'll send to the buyer.

Parallel growths of small Sugilite crystals with good terminations. They are on matrix, with radial sprays of small Pectolite crystals. Very recently we posted this same specimen, but its vivid and uniform bluish color gave us some doubts about its identity, so we removed it until it could be analyzed. We will send the buyer a copy of the analysis confirming that it is sugilite.
