The crystals of Calcite grew on a matrix of Pyrite and Sphalerite, and on cream-colored rhombohedral Dolomite crystals, clearly differentiating the area of sulfides from that of carbonates, the latter having precipitated later. A very 'geological' specimen.

A novelty at Tucson 2018. Very sharp and aerial cubo-octahedral crystal, complete and on matrix, with Mica. It has two small contacts on the left side, recrystallized by the Carrollite itself. The sample is from a recent find of samples of a great quality.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 44 of the 2018/01 edition.
