EH16R1: Bultfonteinite with Hydroxyapophyllite-(K) and Calcite
Fanlike groups of snowy white acicular crystals of Bultfonteinite replacing the faces of short elongated crystals of Hydroxyapophyllite-(K) which has a pseudocubic habit. In some cases the replacement is deeper and forms a more or less complete pseudomorph of the preexisting Hydroxyapophyllite-(K). All are on a matrix of clear, complex, crystals of Calcite.

The specific spot at the locality where the find was made has already been closed, so no new discoveries can be expected in that specific place.

Spheroidal growths of Bultfonteinite, of good size, on matrix, with Tobermorite-Clinotobermorite that forms small fibrous spheroidal coatings of white color associated with Andradite on the matrix. The specific area in the locality where the discovery took place has now been covered over, so no new finds are expected at that specific location.

A novelty for 2021: Tobermorite-Clinotobermorite, on matrix, forms small fibrous spheroidal coatings of intense pink color that accompany spheroidal growths of orange-brown Bultfonteinite.
