A single Beryl (emerald variety) crystal with perfect terminal faces. It is transparent, bright and on a rocky matrix with platy Calcite crystals.

TQ94AH4: Beryl (variety emerald) with Molybdenite and Quartz
Beryl (emerald variety) crystals with very well defined faces and edges and with a very deep color. They are on a rock matrix, partially imbedded in Quartz and with laminar Molybdenite crystals, a very uncommon association.
The sample is from the Vallecillo collection, in Madrid.

Group of Beryl crystals (variety emerald), two of them clearly dominant, greenish in color, which retain their hexagonal shape, and partially coated by shiny black Phlogopite crystals. From the most classic Spanish locality for Emerald, although nowadays it is quite impossible to obtain specimens there.

Aggregate of two Bornite (apparently after Chalcocite) crystals, both very well defined but with two very different shapes, one of them prismatic with a polycrystalline termination, while the second one is clearly tabular and forming a cyclic (“sixling”) twin.

Group of twinned Bournonite crystals, very typical for the locality and a great classic for the species. The crystals, one of them clearly dominant, are very well defined, extraordinarily bright and are on matrix. An excellent German classic that is with an old paperboard collectible box with a transparent cover and handwritten notes that we also will send to the buyer.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 62 of the 2019/01 edition.

Group of Brazilianite crystals, one of them doubly terminated, with very well defined faces and edges, with a light green color and on matrix, with Siderite, Quartz and small Lazulite crystals. Their color apart, very uncommon for the species, we especially note the locality, where Brazilianite is a very rare species.
This specimen was photographed and published as a novelty at the 2014 Munich Show in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ Nov/Dec 2014, number 120, page 51, and has been referenced and figured in the book "Minéraux - Le Guide des Passionnés" (page 305)

Brochantite specimens from Milpillas have won a well-deserved fame for their excellent quality. In this case, the idiomorphic crystals are elongated,with sharp faces and edges and a very deep green color; the matrix is partially coated by a later generation of brochantite, showing pale green fibrous crystals with satiny luster. In my opinion this locality offers the world’s best Brochantite as judged by crystal size and sharpness, deep color and high luster.

Brochantite crystals from Milpillas are famous for their sharpness and generally excellent quality. Here we have a group of idiomorphic Brochantite crystals with well-defined faces and edges and chisel-like terminations. The specimen’s composition, with large crystals on matrix coated by smaller crystals, makes for fine aesthetics. In my opinion this locality produces the world’s finest Brochantite specimens.
