A curious specimen formed by a tapestry of very white Calcite crystals on a ferruginous rock matrix that has been partially dissolved, with very clear slit-like dissolution marks, and which in a later episode caused the precipitation of small, very sharp Vanadinite crystals, with colors ranging from orange to reddish and with a group of parallel and polycrystalline growths.

A novelty at Ste. Marie 2012. Aggregate of tabular Vanadinite crystals with polycrystalline growths on the pinacoidal faces and very well defined pyramidal faces. They are bright, have a very vivid and uniform color and are implanted on a sandstone matrix partially coated by black Mottramite microcrystals. The Mottramite, a novelty for the Mibladen area, has been analyzed and we’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
