Group of scalenohedral crystals of Calcite. They are transparent, bright and have very sharp faces and edges. The sample is with a label from the former Soviet Union, with the old name for the locality Dalnegorsk (Tetjuhe).

Scalenohedral crystals with slightly curved faces and edges. On a rock matrix, they are transparent and extraordinarily bright. Some of the crystals are colorless, strongly contrasting with other honey color Calcite crystals. Of a great quality and among the best well known for this locality.

Druse, on matrix, of complex, twinned Calcite crystals with the dominant faces of a scalenohedron, a prism and a terminal rhombohedron. The crystals are lustrous and transparent and have an intense and uniform yellow color. As in so many specimens in this collection, the sample is of great quality for the locality.

Complex equidimensional crystals, very rich in faces, growing on an early generation of smaller crystals primarily covering a stalactitic growth of a mineral that has disappeared, maybe Limonite?. A very esthetic piece. The sample is from J. Catmur collection and the label indicates that it was acquired in 1994.

Calcite collectors from Spain have on their mind a particular specimen: the "nailhead" Calcite from Mina Julia in Bilbao. Found long ago and no longer available, this particular specimen would satisfy the most demanding collector for its perfection, size and good display.

Group of crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with very well defined faces and edges, between white and clear, the main one very transparent and with inclusions of crystallized Hematite. The sample is considerably better than the picture shows.
