TQ94AH4: Beryl (variety emerald) with Molybdenite and Quartz
Beryl (emerald variety) crystals with very well defined faces and edges and with a very deep color. They are on a rock matrix, partially imbedded in Quartz and with laminar Molybdenite crystals, a very uncommon association.
The sample is from the Vallecillo collection, in Madrid.

TR16AF2: Beryl (variety emerald) with Pyrite and Calcite
Doubly terminated single Beryl (emerald variety) crystal with excellent terminal faces. It is clear, bright and has a very intense and uniform color. On a Calcite matrix, it also is with a complete Pyrite crystal that shows the very well defined forms of the cube, the octahedron and a pyritohedron. An excellent thumbnail, very unusual.

Brazilianite with Siderite and Quartz.
EM48AA3: Brazilianite with Siderite and Quartz
Group of Brazilianite crystals, one of them doubly terminated, with very well defined faces and edges, with a light green color and on matrix, with Siderite, Quartz and small Lazulite crystals. Their color apart, very uncommon for the species, we especially note the locality, where Brazilianite is a very rare species.
This specimen was photographed and published as a novelty at the 2014 Munich Show in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ Nov/Dec 2014, number 120, page 51

Most of the mineral species that the Milpillas mine has produced are the best of the best. The Brochantites are part of this rating and this piece is a good example of it for its excellent color, its richness of crystals, and the fact that the crystals are on a rock matrix.

Fibrous Brochantite is very well known at the Milpillas mine but this sample has aggregates of elongated idiomorphic crystals with very well defined faces and edges and chisel like terminations. These crystals are partially coated by a later generation of satin luster and clearer green fibrous Brochantite growths. In our opinion, the world's best for the species for their definition, crystal size, as well as their color and luster and, in general, very high quality.

A novelty at Tucson 2015.
