Spheroidal aggregates of Bavenite crystals with very well defined polycrystalline growths. They are very bright and are on a Microcline matrix spotted by dark green Clinochlore and are with small Spessartine crystals with a very deep red color.
The sample is from the Carlos González Bargueño collection whose label we will send to the buyer. Carlos was the first to find these Bavenites and it was thanks to his labor that these extraordinary samples have been saved.

Aggregates of spheroidal Bavenite crystals with an ivory-white color and implanted on a Microcline matrix with small Quartz crystals and aggregates of Chlorite micro-crystals.
The sample is from the Carlos González Bargueño collection, whose label we will send to the buyer. Carlos was the first to find these Bavenites and it was thanks to his labor that these extraordinary samples have been saved.

NE63X6: Bavenite with Pyrite, Fluorite and chlorite

Spheroidal crystal of Bavenite with very sharp polycrystalline growths on its faces. It is very bright and is implanted on a Quartz matrix partially coated by Pyrite and chlorite and with a curiously added small crystal of purple Fluorite. The sample is from the Carlos González Bargueño collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer. Carlos was the first to find these Bavenites and it was thanks to his labor that these extraordinary samples have been saved.

NQ62AL3: Bavenite with Quartz (variety smoky)

Spheroidal aggregates of lamellar Bavenite crystals, translucent, very shiny and on matrix, with small, very transparent and lustrous crystals of smoky Quartz.
The specimen comes from the Carlos González Bargueño collection, whose label we will send to the buyer. Carlos was the one who first found these Bavenites and thanks to his work these extraordinary specimens were saved. The Bavenites from Valdeconejillos are somewhat different from the better known ones from the Venero I quarry.

Isolated Bavenite crystal with polycrystalline growths on its faces. It has a good luster, with an ivory-white color and is implanted on a Feldspar matrix coated by epitaxial Quartz crystals, with scattered Chlorite crystals.

A specimen very rich in lamellar Bavenite crystals as subparallel groups, with an ivory-white color, implanted on Albite crystals, which at the same time are partially covering a group of Quartz crystals (smoky quartz variety). The back of the piece is very rich in Bavenite crystals too.

Jordi Povill's collection was full of great Spanish classics and most localities were very well represented. This is the case of this Bayldonite from Pardos, which is not only very rich, with a lot of the material, but also has a good Baryte crystal associated with it and small crystals of Azurite that provide contrast.

Small but extraordinary crystal of this rare scandium mineral of the Beryl group. The crystal, of a deep blue color, shows the faces of a very acute dipyramid and it is implanted on a matrix of clear Quartz crystals.

Divergent aggregates of acicular Berthierite crystals, very rarely found on matrix. They are with Siderite and gray aggregates of Calcite crystals. One of the aggregates, on the left in the image, is truncated by a natural contact.

Single Beryl crystal with an unusual cylindrical habit, with a progressive narrowing in the lower part and a finely polycrystalline termination.
