TG27AN2: Magnetite (variety Ti-bearing) with Microcline and Quartz
A novelty at Sainte Marie Virtual 2021. Octahedral crystals of Magnetite (titanium-rich variety) in parallel growths and with an aggregate habit that suggests they represent a pseudomorph after an Ilmenite crystal. The lustrous Magnetite crystals show fine growth lines and are partially covered by Microcline and Quartz crystals. Both the Magnetite and the Microcline have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
