The upper levels of Panasqueira are currently offering surprising and pleasant novelties, with samples that are different from what is already known.

A very unusual combination from this Chinese mine of Topaz crystals, with very well defined faces and between colorless and white, plus cubic crystals of Fluorite that are transparent, very bright, with a clear lilac color and geometric zoning. Twinned Cerussite with Galena.
JM37AF3: Twinned Cerussite with Galena
Very sharp twinned crystals, between transparent and translucent, with whitish phantom growths, very bright, with a golden brown color and small Galena inclusions. The tip of the main twin, is slightly rough but free of damage. The termination of one of the secondary crystals is fractured.

A novelty at Tucson 2012. Unusual crystalline shape for the Vanadinite, whose aggregates, very aerial, are formed by crystals with a prism and an acute dipyramid with very well defined faces and edges and are on matrix with small crystals of Calcite. They show a creamy color and are on matrix.
