Arsenic-bearing Vanadinite (variety endlichite).
ME47AF3: Arsenic-bearing Vanadinite (variety endlichite)
Irregular aggregate of greatly elongated crystals with a spindle-like shape, most of them doubly terminated with very acute pyramidal terminations. The crystals are brighter than usual for Los Lamentos and have a dark greenish-brown color. These Vanadinites, whose arsenic content is quite higher than usual, are well known as the endlichite variety.

A novelty at Tucson 2012. Unusual crystalline shape for the Vanadinite, whose aggregates, very aerial, are formed by crystals with a prism and an acute dipyramid with very well defined faces and edges and are on matrix with small crystals of Calcite. They show a creamy color and are on matrix.
This sample has been noted and photographed in the Mineralogical Record magazine (January-February 2018, pg. 167)

Aggregate of doubly terminated Vanadinite crystals, with very well defined faces and edges, with good luster and a very unusual color between orange and cream, and with a dark colored band in the center of the crystal. The specimen was collected at a depth of 200 meters in the old shafts of the ACF mine and, due to access and extraction difficulties, no future prospecting is planned in that area.

They drew attention for their crystal size, since until then most of the vanadinites had come from the ACF mine, which produced smaller crystals. Later finds yielded even bigger crystals, but these early ones still have something special about them.
