Irregular aggregate, on matrix of crystals formed by a short prism and the pinacoide, with very well defined faces and edges and showing apple-green color and a very intense luster. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated. The sample is from the excellent, and already famous, find in 1997.
This specimen was published on the Mineralogical Record´s web page, in the ‘What’s New in the Mineral World?’ section, report #34, April 9, 2013 edition.

An extraordinary specimen with very well defined crystals, many of them doubly terminated, bright and of excellent green color, on matrix. One of the most significant specimens from the find.

FM26: Pyromorphite

San Andrés Mine was recently made famous by the great find of sharp Pyromorphites, but in the past when the mine worked it also produced some nice Pyromorphite such as this original group of balls formed by a lot of small crystals. Very brilliant and with a nice color and form.

The San Andrés Mine was recently made famous by the great find of sharp Pyromorphites, but in the past when the mine worked it also produced some nice Pyromorphite, such as this original group of balls formed by lots of small crystals. Very brilliant, with a nice color and form.

A classic specimen from one of the most famous Spanish mineral localities. These Pyromorphites, which are now very difficult to obtain, were collected in the early 20th century. Parallel growth of Pyromorphite crystals, several of them doubly terminated, with pyramid terminations and color zoning.

A classic specimen from one of the most famous Spanish mineral localities. These Pyromorphites, which are now very difficult to obtain, were collected in the early 20th century. We are showing a nice miniature formed by a prismatic group with excellent color and multiple and slight color zoned terminations. On the backside of the specimen there are some small doubly terminated crystals.

Pyromorphite from El Horcajo is historic. One rarely finds specimens on the mineral market. The crystal has the faces of the prism and the hopper termination presents a perfect profile. The color is also excellent.

NP63M3: Pyromorphite

A classic specimen from one of the most famous Spanish mineral localities. These Pyromorphites, which are now very difficult to obtain, were collected in the early 20th century. Acicular to fibrous groups of crystals, showing a curious felted luster. Green color is excellent, with tones more or less deep, depending on the crystal zone.

RG48F9: Pyromorphite

An aerial and esthetical group with dramatic color zoning near the top. The crystals are large and have a few common characteristics of the Horcajo specimens. The tips, even considering a beginning of cone growth, are perfectly flat. Another historical sample, with a lot of years on its back, when Sr. Folch purchased it in 1923 from a miner at the locality.

Groups of prismatic crystals with the edges lightly curved. Some crystals are partially covered with and have inclusions of a mineral described as Litharge on the label, but we can't confirm that because we have not analyzed the mineral to certify it.

A novelty of Tucson 2009. Globular growths of barreled crystals of good luster and yellowish green color. The sample is from a recent find in a locality hitherto little known.
This specimen was photographed for the ‘Sainte-Marie Show 2009’ section of the magazine ‘Minéraux et Fossiles’ and appears on page 18 of number 383.

A great oldie from Les Farges. Although usually we expect really green Pyromorphite from this locality, some other ones with very interesting colors appear from time to time, such as this one which is intensely brown with yellow tips. It is a floater, complete and its form is as nice as the photo suggests.

The crystals , with slightly curved faces and edges, have an intense luster, olive-green color, which is typical on some of the samples from Les Farges, and a vivid yellow color on the terminal faces. An excellent French classic.

TV50X7: Pyromorphite

Flattened parallel growths and very well defined crystals with good terminations and geometrical color zoning, clearer at the crystal terminations. There are two different shades of color on the sample, deep and uniform green on most on them and yellowish green in some minor areas.
