From a very recent find in the area of Western Sahara in Morocco, with the specific location yet to be determined, this specimen of Gold, very well crystallized and with brilliant luster, displays a sharply defined morphology, with the dominant forms of the octahedron in highly stylized parallel growths, distinctly twinned according to the spinel law and with curious hooked ends.
We will see what the future of the locality holds for these high quality absolute novelties.

Great specimen, both for its size and for being very unusual, with very sharp Baryte crystals, between tabular and lamellar, and totally different from the classic ones from this deposit. In addition, the crystals are covered by very unusual orange Sphalerite crystals (analyzed) which form globular groups. The specimen undoubtedly owes its rarity to the fact that it is very old and comes from the collection of Pierre-Marie Guy, who was the one who acquired it from the miner Robert Guy.
