Very 3-dimensional growth of Malachite pseudomorphing equidimensional crystals of Azurite, with very well defined faces and edges, intense color, on matrix. Before the Azurite started altering to Malachite a thin dark coating, probably Cuprite, formed on the faces of the crystals, as suggested by the mineralogy of the locality and some of the crystalline forms, apparently octahedral, present in the matrix. This great quality piece comes from the collection of Rock H. Currier (No. 4667) whose label we will send to the buyer. The specimen is from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.
