ND30F3: Crystals of doubly terminated Ferberite are not common from Panasqueira, especially with this one's size and definition. In this case we can add that it is neatly and esthetically placed on a complex crystal of doubly terminated Quartz, which has a coating of Siderite.

Ferberite with Siderite, Muscovite and Arsenopyrite

WAQ27CD2: Flattened crystal of Ferberite, partially doubly terminated with well-defined parallel growths. It is very shiny and is on a matrix covered with Muscovite crystals, lenticular Siderite crystals, and shiny and sharp Arsenopyrite crystals.
Although in one area, the crystal appears less defined, it has no breaks or impacts; it simply did not grow under the same conditions as the rest of the crystal, conditions that, as seen, created a high-quality crystal.
Like all specimens in Raúl Sanabria's collection, it was chosen with great care, always aiming to have something special that sets it apart.

The specimen, of exceptional quality both in the definition and perfection of the Ferberite crystals, as well as in the overall aesthetics, is numbered and comes from an old exchange in the Folch collection. It is accompanied by a typewritten card and a handwritten note, which will be provided together to the purchaser of the piece.

TBX17CD5: Pyrite is not the most common mineral in the Panasqueira mines, but from time to time curious samples like this one have been found, formed by a group of very lustrous pineapple-shaped crystals with a cavity that shows a crystal of cubic morphology, also of Pyrite, adorning the entire specimen, which comes from the former collection of Francisco Fernández Ortega. MR27AM3: Group of large Chalcopyrite crystals with the typical curvatures seen in Panasqueira specimens, very aerial, lustrous, and on matrix. With sharp and lustrous Arsenopyrite crystals and small coatings of lenticular Siderite crystals. As a whole, it is a very high level piece both for its perfection and for the quality of the Chalcopyrite crystals, a species that in this mine does not usually yield very good specimens.
Minas da Panasqueira, Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Cova da Beira, Centro  Portugal

Sphalerite with Marcasite and Pyrite

NB12AA4: Aggregate of Sphalerite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a deep black color and very well marked growth striations. The aggregate has a superficial Pyrite patina and small leafy Muscovite growths on the back. Current mining works on the 0 level at Panasqueira are characterized by good samples of species relatively rare in other areas and levels.

EY28AK1: Parallel growths of complex Sphalerite crystals, very bright, with fine striated edges, white lenticular crystals of Siderite, spheroidal aggregates of laminar crystals of Muscovite and hyaline crystals of Quartz. Although Sphalerite is not a rare species in this mine it rarely occurs in such well-formed crystals. The specimen comes from a recent find in the upper levels of Panasqueira.

Tetrahedrite with Siderite and Fluorapatite

N13BF2: A real rarity for this mine, as we think that almost no one has ever noted the presence of Tetrahedrite at Panasqueira. The small brilliant crystals are gray-black and are on prismatic Siderite. There is also some green Fluorapatite, which adds to the interest of the specimen. We will give the buyer a copy of the analysis of the Tetrahedrite.
