ND69AK9: Floater crystal, of good size, surely formed in a Calcite matrix, with sharp faces and edges but with dissolution forms in both its upper and lower terminations. Transparent, lustrous, with more intense color in the terminal areas than in the center of the crystal.

TR28AF6: Doubly terminated floater crystal with very well defined faces and edges and excellent terminations, one of them simple and pinacoidal, the other showing an unusual polycrystalline growth with a deep structural incision that seems to break the crystal longitudinally into two symmetrical parts. The sample is transparent, bright and vividly colored.

The crystals show a neat geometric color zoning, clearer on the prism faces and deep violet on the terminations. The sample is from a not well known quarry at the classic Artigas área and where very interesting and esthetic samples are today being recovered.
