TTV86AP3: "Nest" of very sharp and extraordinarily lustrous Pyrite crystals with a parallelepiped shape, on matrix, with flattened rhombohedral Calcite crystals. The specimen came from Ferat Voca, a former worker in this classic mine.

EZ47AF5: Rosette growths of laminar Pyrite crystals, pseudomorphous after Pyrrhotite, extraordinarily bright, with small white Calcite crystals and globular Calcite growths with gray plumosite inclusions. Never seen before with this quality at Trepča.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a novelty from Ste. Marie 2017 in the Russian magazine ‘Mineral Observer’ on page 73 in the volume 23, number 1

ET76G6: From Trepča, one of the most classic localities, comes this very original Pyrite, harmoniously escorted by Quartz, Rhodochrosite and Sphalerite. The crystallography of the Pyrite is very particular with an irregular growth of the crystals forming groups, some of them very aerial.

MV37AJ4: Group of Pyrite crystals with very well defined polycrystalline growths. They are partially coated by white, lenticular Calcite crystals and implanted on a matrix that is partially a large first generation rhombohedral Calcite crystal with a pale pink color.

EC50AL3: Spheroidal growth of cubic Galena crystals with polycrystalline growths, and partially coated with lenticular rhombohedral Calcite crystals. With extraordinary luster, the crystal faces are so smooth they look like mirrors. One of the best Galenas that we have seen from this locality.

MT69AL4: Twinned crystals of Sphalerite much more individualized and well defined than usual in this deposit, with some areas replaced by Chalcopyrite, very lustrous, on matrix and with Quartz and Calcite. The back shows a crystalline contact without breakage, as evidenced by the presence of Boulangerite in good condition.

MBR47CD2: Isolated twinned (spinel twinning) crystals of bright Sphalerite on a matrix of Quartz crystals with Calcite and Galena.
From a mine where many sphalerites have been seen, this one stands out for its definition, shininess, and the beauty of the accompanying minerals.

SV220TAE: Druse formed by complex twinned crystals of Sphalerite, isolated, deep black, lustrous and with perfectly defined faces and edges with marked striations on one of the crystal faces and some dissolution figures. Associated with crystals of Quartz and globular coatings of cream-colored Siderite crystals, giving a very nice color contrast to the specimen. Finally, small Galena crystals complete the combo.
The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years yielded, and still yields, exceptional pieces of Sphalerite, as well as varied combinations of sulfides and carbonates, as shown by this specimen, from the Ferat Voca collection.

MA51W4: Sharp dipyramidal crystal of Anatase on an Albite matrix. Its termination is a sharp pinacoid. It is very bright and, what is extraordinarily unusual, it has a wide transparent area (easily visible with a light at the back) with reddish-brown color.

This Anatase crystal is doubly-terminated, bipyramidal, of considerable size, very sharp and bright, with dark blue color better seen when the sample is under intense light because it is partially transparent. MV27AG5: Very aerial growth of curved (“wire”) and hooked native silver crystals that are very elongated with a striated aspect. Small Calcite granules are included in the Silver.
The sample, very typical of Kongsberg, is from the Leif Engman collection, of Sweden, and one of the added labels indicates it was previously in the Axel R. Andersson collection, of Uppsala, three labels that we’ll send to the buyer.
