BRM26AP3: Groups of octahedral Fluorite crystals with minor cube and rhombododecahedron faces, unusual in this type of specimen. The crystals are pink and translucent, on matrix with small Albite crystals.

ED27K6: Group of very transparent crystals forming parallel growths, slightly twisted (gwindel) and with a neat “faden” growth. At the base of the piece there is a thin Albite matrix.

EQ67K6: Group of doubly terminated crystals, one of them clearly dominant, extraordinarily flattened because the accentuated growth of two opposite faces of the rhombohedron. The specimen is absolutely clear and has, as a curiosity, some slightly curved faces. At the same time, we suspect, due the position of the small faces on the top, it is twinned.

TPM14AP7: Very sharp crystal of Titanite, salmon-colored with lighter zoning, almost white, on the edges, bordered by growths of small dark green, almost black, Chlorite crystals.

JR8J0: Very well defined laminar crystal formed by multiple growth and with very small red crystals of Rutile, prismatic and doubly terminated. They are spread on the surface of Hematite.
The specimen is from the Jan Buma collection (num. 941207) and we’ll send the card of the collection with it.

TXA27AN5: Aggregate of very sharp Hematite crystals between lamellar and tabular, with brilliant luster and epitaxial growths of translucent Rutile crystals, which are very lustrous too and with an intense red color. On an Albite matrix, with Quartz crystals.
A Swiss classic that we will ship in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label indicating that it was previously in the Sullivan collection.

TG30F6: The tabular, very brilliant crystals are quite large. Add to this the complex parallel growth of the Quartz, which will appeal to connoisseurs. A really neat specimen.

MRA98CD4: Plate formed by Quartz crystals arranged in a very aerial manner with clear development of the prism and the perfectly sharp terminations, translucent and with abundant inclusions of dark green Chlorite concentrated in the centers of the Quartz prisms, and which in turn are partially covered by very clear, practically transparent Albite crystals.
An alpine classic from a well-known mineralogical area of Switzerland.

TQ88L3: Very sharp prismatic smoky Quartz crystal. The specimen shows rhombohedral oscillatory faces with inclusions in the lower crystal, partially recrystallized. Excellent transparency, brilliance and deep and uniform smoky tone. This sample comes from a smoky Quartz classic locality, but not one well-known by mineral collectors.

EB51G4: In this Fluorite the color and definition of faces and edges are excellent. Fluorite crystal is enhanced by a group of doubly-terminated smoky Quartz crystals with microcrystals of Albite, all in a matrix, also of Albite.

MVM48AO3: Groups of Lengenbachite crystals with a prismatic shape and a fine vertical striation, very lustrous, with Jordanite crystals of somewhat lighter grey tones and matte, included on a white Calcite matrix with very shiny microgranular Pyrite aggregates. A Swiss classic, from the type locality for both species, a rare lead-copper-arsenic sulphosalt.

MCT97AO3: Sartorite crystal with very sharp crystal forms and good terminations, something uncommon in this type of specimen, lustrous, and included in a white Calcite matrix. A Swiss classic, from the type locality for the species, a rare lead arsenic sulphosalt. Originally labeled “Skleroklas” (Scleroclase), a name given to sartorites long ago.

SM47AB1: Doubly terminated and very well defined Synchisite-(Ce) crystal, with parallel growths, translucent, very bright, with a very intense yellow color and on Albite matrix with small Hematite rosettes and acicular Schorl microcrystals. As in so many specimens in this collection, the sample is of great quality for the locality.

TR14F9: Now accustomed to the Norwegian and Pakistani pieces, from time to time the market surprises us with a sample from an old and different source. In this specimen we have two bipyramidal crystals, very sharp, black and bright, on a Quartz matrix with Muscovite inclusions.
We add two labels. One of them, autographed, is from the old collection of L. Bardelli in Milan (num. 2308) the second one is more modern, coming from the Freiberger Bergakademie.

MQ76AK9: Group of doubly terminated floater crystals, transparent and very bright, with a slightly smoky tone. An alpine classic from the collection Carles Manresa (no. 4147) whose collection entry shows that it was previously in the collection of Joaquín Folch Girona, who got it in an exchange with the Sulzbachs, Zurich, in 1950. We will send to the buyer, together with the specimen, the label and collection record of Carlos Manresa and the label and handwritten record from the Folch collection.

E91AC7: Cumbria, British Museum, Baryte, these are all names that remind me of a splendid past. Jordi bought this one from the Behier collection but did not put it up on the web site as the base has a small ding. But given that you cannot see this defect when you display it and that it is such a nice specimen that displays well I think that it would look good in any collection.
As well as the history I like the fact that it has its old labels and that not only are the crystals transparent but that they have two colors, due, Jordi tells me, to the Hematite inclusions in certain areas which add the red tint.

EZ26S3: Irregular aggregate of prismatic crystals of uniform green color. They are deformed by the curvature of their faces and edges resulting in the habit known as “barrel-shaped”. In some of the crystals the curvature is so intense that produces a spherical shape. The sample is from one of the great classic British localities. It is with two old labels (Julian Reasenberg y Morris Museum of Art and Sciences) with the typical small mistakes about the localities present on old labels. We’ll send both labels to the buyer.

TA91AJ4: Rosette growths of lenticular Barytocalcite crystals with curved edges. They are on a matrix with gray, very sharp lenticular Calcite crystals. The Barytocalcite has a white color and appears as pseudomorphs or perimorphs coating old Baryte crystals.
The sample, an English classic, is from the John H. Marshall Jr. collection (num. 536), whose card and label, and with a previous label of the Lindsday Greenbank collection, both of which we will send to the buyer. We will also send a copy of the analysis that disproves the wrong perception of Lindsay and John that the white crystals are Witherite when they are really Barytocalcite.
