Bismuthinite

Tazna it is one of the richest Bismuth deposits on the world. Although it is no longer in production a few people dig there and they found a phenomenal pocket that gave the biggest Bismuthinite crystals ever found. Unfortunately most of them were covered by a deep crust of Marcasite, only a few specimens don't had Marcasite or were just covered by a thin crust of Marcasite. Following this great find we got the specimen below with the best luster / visibility for this new discover.

TA38: Sharp, pretty brilliant Bismuthinite single crystal just covered on its top and on its rear by a crust of botryoidal Marcasite. Super for the species. As usual we will send the analysis to the buyer of the specimen.

MA93X6: Magnificent sample due to its size, the high quantity of its crystals and their excellent definition with very good terminal faces and their intense luster. Unlike most of the Bismuthinite from this locality, the crystals aren’t partially or totally coated by Marcasite.

MD27AM9: Group of very sharp and extraordinarily well defined Bismuthinite crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with good luster, associated with Pyrite-Marcasite.
We will send the specimen, which comes from the Robert J. Noble collection, in its original Perky box from that collection, which also contains the label.

Bournonite

At the Machacamarca Mine, Bolivia they find some interesting minerals, the finest being Bournonite in flat, large crystals on matrix. Totally different from other Bournonite, collectors enjoy their unusual crystal form.

Icositetrahedral Pyrite

In 1999, in a small mine in Bolivia (Tres Cruces, Potosí), they found some neat Pyrite, which was very brilliant and associated with Siderite. Crystalographically they are icositetrahedral crystals, so more complex than the normal ones.

TB8M9: Group of lenticular crystals that have a very contrasted doubly coloration, with both dark and yellowish-brown areas. They are on matrix, with small crystals of Pyrite that are complex, with the predominant forms of the octahedron.

EK57B7: Pretty Pyrite, very brilliant. Icositetrahedral crystals, so more complex than the normal ones.

TB16S7: Wide (for the locality) leafy growths of gold with a vivid luster and intense yellow color that contrasts with the green color of the copper salts on the matrix.
The sample was previously in the John H. Marshall collection and has a considerable pedigree, supported by joined labels and cards that we’ll send to the buyer.

MR46AA8: Spheroidal aggregates, very much more isolated than usual for the species, with a very intense greenish-blue color, with small Malachite crystals and on a limonite matrix. A very esthetic miniature.

MZ71X2: Groups of platy crystals of the rare species Szenicsite. The crystals, with excellent color and luster, form fanlike growths and are on matrix.

JA56AF0: Radial and irregular clusters of Atacamite crystals, between fine prismatic and acicular, many of them doubly terminated. They are translucent, extraordinarily bright and on a rocky matrix partially coated by clear Halloysite.

TC140EA: Coming from a mine little known until now, Brochantite forms fan-like aggregates of finely acicular crystals, with an intense silky luster and a very vivid color. Accompanied by Linarite crystals with brilliant luster and a very vivid color.

MK86AE7: A novelty at Munich 2016. Spray-like aggregates of finely acicular crystals with a very intense silky luster. The Brochantite is with small Atacamite crystals that have a darker green color. They are on a rocky matrix with Quartz (variety chalcedony) coatings. The sample is from a formerly poorly known mine.

TM69AJ9: A novelty at Sainte-Marie 2019. Botryoidal and stalactitic growths of black Murdochite microcrystals on matrix with Goethite and coated by felted aggregates of Brochantite crystals and a group of small Linarite crystals, very bright and with a very intense blue color. The two main species had been analyzed and we will send a copy of both analyses to the buyer. Murdochite has not been cited at the locality until now.
This specimen has been photographed and published as a novelty at the 2019 Ste. Marie Show in the magazine "Lapis" number 07-08/2019, page 62, in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ July/August 2019, number 148, page 29 and ‘Mineral Up’ on page 61 of the 2019/02 edition.

The specimen comes from one of the most well-known orebodies for the species.

EF27T4: Very acute dipyramidal crystals, typical for the locality, and one of them clearly dominant. They are extraordinarily bright and show a splendid red color. On Calcite matrix. The sample is included in a box with an old stamp of the Dirección de Geología del Ministerio de Minas e Hidrocarburos de Venezuela, that we'll send to the buyer. A universal classic.

ET13W7: Aggregates of very acute acicular crystals of Rodalquilarite. They have a very deep olive green color and are on a Quartz matrix coated by very well defined yellow Alunite crystals. The locality is a classic both for the Alunite and the Rodalquilarite.

EQ37W7: Spheroidal aggregates of Rodalquilarite with a clear olive green color. They are implanted on a matrix of Quartz which is almost completely coated by very well defined lenticular yellow Alunite crystals. The locality is a classic both for the Alunite and the Rodalquilarite.

ET66M8: Arborescent growth with rounded terminations corresponding to deformed crystals. The mine is not well-known and such coppers are uncommon in international collections.

TD14K0: Both the locality and the shape of the specimens are really unusual. From an old collection, these four gold nuggets, flat and oval, are conserved in their original case, on whose back there is the label that we show.

EV93AK9: Group of Quartz crystals with very sharp faces, transparent in a good part of the prism faces, colorless and clear. The yellow-orange argillaceous inclusions in the terminations provide color contrast. This group of crystals is quite large compared to most pieces from this locality, which are usually just loose crystals or small specimens.
