On a feldspar matrix, they are between translucent and transparent, very bright and have a very intense and uniform orange color. Relatively common just a few years ago, this kind of Spessartine is quickly disappearing from the mineral market.

The crystals, very transparent and bright, are dichroic and their color varies from the blue to the green depending on the kind of light that is used. On a matrix with small Quartz crystals.

The sample is undamaged, something unusual because most of the samples from this mine are usually more or less broken.

TVR64AN4: A centered fan-shaped group of very elongated Inesite crystals with sharp crystal forms and good terminations. They are translucent, deep pink in color and on a crystalline ‘Apophyllite’ base with small dark crystals that were initially named Babingtonite-Mn but which, in the end, turned out to be the new species Hubeite.
We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. (Bob) Noble collection, which also contains the label.
