TA47P9: The sample is from the Flor de Peņa Mine, the type locality. The small crystals with very well defined faces and edges, form sheaf like growths on a matrix partially coated by botryoidal yellowish-white Smithsonite. Color and luster of the Legrandite crystals are excellent.
