19TJM56: Aerial aggregate formed by a multitude of cream-colored Rhodochrosite crystals covering in part a matrix of limestone rock and in part covering what seem to be crystals of Calcite, similar to the other whitish-greyish crystals of Calcite with a darker band corresponding to inclusions of Boulangerite, an antimony-lead sulphide very characteristic of this deposit.
The Trepča mining complex is one of the largest polymetallic deposits in the world and for many years has yielded exceptional pieces of Sphalerite as well as varied combinations of sulphides and carbonates as shown in this specimen from the former collection of Ferat Voca.
