Cinnabar with Calcite and Gypsum

HM60TP: A novelty at Tucson 2020: crystals of Cinnabar with a dominant rhombohedral habit along with other lesser crystal forms, translucent, extraordinarily lustrous and with a very vivid color, on matrix, with small crystals of Calcite and Gypsum. The specimen comes from a recent find that has been carefully analyzed and determined to be Cinnabar, and despite the fact that Metacinnabar was allegedly found in samples from this find, our analyses have not detected any.
