Just in time before the closing of Touissit mines, we managed to obtain this superb Azurite specimen. Crystals standing free on their white Dolomite matrix. The sharp crystal form, luster, color and perfection make this specimen one of the best of this size for this mine.

Bou Bekker is reputed to be Touissit's 'little brother' although some of its specimens can be of very high quality, especially from an aesthetic point of view. In the case of this old specimen, the Azurite has a wonderful color that contrasts very well with the green of the Malachite.

Single Azurite crystal on a matrix with small globular growths of Bayldonite. The crystal is translucent, has a very deep color and the vivid blue sparkles characteristic of the first Azurite finds at Tsumeb. The termination is partially and superficially replaced by Malachite.
