Parallel aggregate of two elongated prismatic crystals that are translucent, with a very deep color and on a Baryte matrix. The sample is a thumbnail and as is the case with so many specimens in this collection is of great quality for the locality.

An unquestionably high quality example that combines crystals of flattened habit with others more prismatic, some doubly terminated and all of them very sharp, translucent, extraordinarily brilliant and with the vivid blue color (“electric blue”) that has made Azurites famous from this locality. The contrast with the very white Dickite completes the panorama of this extraordinary piece.

Just in time before the closing of Touissit mines, we managed to obtain this superb Azurite specimen. Crystals standing free on their white Dolomite matrix. The sharp crystal form, luster, color and perfection make this specimen one of the best of this size for this mine.

Bou Bekker is reputed to be Touissit's 'little brother' although some of its specimens can be of very high quality, especially from an aesthetic point of view. In the case of this old specimen, the Azurite has a wonderful color that contrasts very well with the green of the Malachite.

Single Azurite crystal on a matrix with small globular growths of Bayldonite. The crystal is translucent, has a very deep color and the vivid blue sparkles characteristic of the first Azurite finds at Tsumeb. The termination is partially and superficially replaced by Malachite.
