The Allargentum, as very elongated crystals, appears intergrown with Silver and Dyscrasite, forming dendritic growths on Calcite matrix and with centered growths of acicular crystals of Actinolite. The Allargentum appears as dominant on the analysis, so, following the IMA recommendations, we label the sample as this. We’ll send copy of the analysis, both of the Allargentum and the Actinolite, to the buyer.

The Allargentum forms arborescent growths on a Calcite-rich matrix with small groups of Actinolite and thin filaments of a not analyzed metallic mineral. We’ll send a copy of the analysis.

Very sharp dodecahedral Almandine crystals, one of them dominant, lustrous, and brown in color with reddish tones. The crystals sit in a metamorphic rock matrix formed of innumerable Muscovite crystals. Contrary to the common practice with almandines from this region, the crystals in this piece are not glued, nor have they had their faces retouched or polished, so their natural surface is preserved. A classic Tyrolean specimen.

Three interpenetrating Almandine crystals, very rich in well-defined, beveled faces and edges, of a very dark brown color with slightly ocher reflections, more marked on the edges. With the particularity that this piece has not been reinforced, but rather is naturally stable, something unusual for this type of alpine specimen from the Gaisberg valley in the Austrian Tyrol.

It is an old piece and comes from the José Navarrete collection.

Isolated trapezohedral Almandine-Spessartine (Series) crystal with a good size for the locality. It has very well defined faces and edges, is translucent with vivid reflections that are between brown and red in color and it is on a matrix of Orthoclase crystals with a very well defined Baveno twin on its prism faces.
The Daunis collection was, in the 70’s and the 80’s, a reference for the local prospectors of the Barcelona area.
