Baryte, Dolomite.
7CC110: Baryte, Dolomite
From a historic mining district we got this piece composed of a ferruginous rock matrix on which were deposited crystals of Dolomite, slightly pink due to some Hematite staining. On this bed of Dolomite crystals were deposited some fine crystals of Baryte of a bluish color, partially doubly terminated, with sharp edges and faces and a brilliant luster. An English classic. This specimen is from the collection of Carles Curto, whose label and catalogue entry we will send to the buyer.

Bastnäsite-(Ce) doubly terminated.
EH92E9: Bastnäsite-(Ce) doubly terminated
Enormous! The tabular appearance is due to the parallel growth of three prismatic, doubly-terminated crystals that can be recognized because of the double pyramids that have formed a single large face at the front. The size of the Bastnasite-(Ce), its excellent brilliance and the fact that the matrix is also quite large all make this an excellent example.
