Baryte with Quartz.
JXM76AP8: Baryte with Quartz
It is very unusual for barytes from this mine to be bluish in color, and to have that Quartz crystal ornament with its certain quality. It comes from a mine where it has never been easy to find well crystallized specimens, much less so aesthetic and with some color, as is the case with this piece.
The specimen has been photographed and published in the magazine ‘Paragénesis’, number 2023-2, page 30

Group of tabular Baryte crystals, with good luster and a color between yellow and brown, on a matrix of Quartz crystals that also largely cover the Baryte. From a classic Spanish locality on which, curiously, despite having been very extensive and having worked for many years, very few quality specimens remain. The specimen comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection (number 794), whose label we will send to the buyer.
