Baryte with Fluorite.
AZ64M9: Baryte with Fluorite
One of the few pieces of pink Baryte mined in Solís near 1995. In such pieces the crystals are always small but have a rich color and are very bright and are implanted on groups of deep yellow Fluorite.

Baryte with Fluorite and Calcite.
JFD183AP2: Baryte with Fluorite and Calcite
The blue barytes from the Moscona mine are so appreciated... above all in the past when the mine had not yet yielded so much material, and, why not say it, because of the transparency and color of those early blue barytes, which were, in my opinion, better than most that came out later. Pretty and elegant was what I expected back then to get with a blue baryte from Moscona and this one served me well.
Moscona Mine, El Llano, Solís, Corvera de Asturias, Comarca Avilés, Principality of Asturias (Asturias)  Spain (1989)

Baryte with Fluorite and Chalcopyrite.
JFD178AP1: Baryte with Fluorite and Chalcopyrite
The difference between pieces from the Emilio Mine and the Jaimina Mine is very subtle. But we can tell that this piece came from the Emilio because when I bought it, Jaimina hadn't started working yet, but if it weren't for that, and for the general 'clarity' of the piece, doubt could remain, especially because of those hexaoctahedral Fluorite cubes.

Baryte with inclusions.
JFD211AP5: Baryte with inclusions
Always in search of something different, this piece moved me because it is so different from the usual in Mefis, which yields very large crystals, even enormous ones, but, although they can be sharp, they always tend to be somewhat 'rough'. Finding something elegant and delicate from there, like this group of crystals, is really rare.
