Druse, on matrix, of extraordinarily transparent and lustrous, water-clear Quartz crystals. A classic of French mineralogy that comes to us from the Philippe Morelon collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

WPF66CD2: Quartz
Very well-developed Quartz crystal with parallel growth on the terminal faces and several very sharp, black, and shiny crystals of Cassiterite. The Quartz is partially coated with small lenticular crystals of Siderite, in turn covered with very shiny microcrystals of Pyrite. Like all specimens in Raúl Sanabria's collection, it was chosen with great care, always aiming to have something special that sets it apart.

Druse of Quartz crystals on a chalcedony matrix. They are very clear and colorless, very bright, rich in faces and have the typical shape that relates to the name of the mine. Group of very sharp Quartz crystals with curious complex terminations showing the typical La Gardette habit. The crystals are transparent, shiny, water-clear, and on matrix. A French classic.

Group of parallel growths with successive phases of crystallization, the last one, the most superficial, forming a lot of doubly terminated colorless crystals. The sample, from a very classic locality, is much better than the picture shows.

The crystal is perfectly transparent; its faces are sharply defined, with an "Alpine" quality, on a matrix with a fibrous silicate, probably Actinolite which penetrates into the Quartz as an inclusion.

Although many people call this "beta" Quartz, it is not. They do so because it resembles beta Quartz, which means that there are no prism faces, only pseudo pyramidal faces. Dalnegorsk is one of the localities that are well known for this called "beta" Quartz (although of course them are not a specie) Given the brilliance, definition of the faces, and esthetics this one could be considered to be among the best.

Parallel growth of crystals with a dipyramidal habit, sometimes erroneously described as β-Quartz. They are translucent, rich with inclusions, and have very well defined faces and edges.

Aggregate of transparent and bright crystals, with a kind of faden inclusions and a very well defined Dauphiné twinning. The sample is of the highest quality from this area. These Quartz samples are one of the more notable surprises in the Daunis collection.
We’ll send to the buyer a digitalized copy of a single label, commonly covering a group of similar samples from the same area.

Aggregate of transparent and bright crystals, with a kind of faden inclusions, a very well defined Dauphiné twinning and a great “s” face. The sample is of the highest quality from this area. These Quartz are one of the more notable surprises in the Daunis collection.
