SV2190TPR: Quartz
Polycrystalline and parallel growths of doubly terminated crystals of water-clear Quartz with a preferential orientation, with very well defined faces and edges, and small hydrocarbon inclusions. The transparency and luster are remarkable for this specimen from a classic deposit for Asturian mineralogy and mining.

Irregular aggregate, on matrix, of very clear and extraordinarily bright crystals whose terminations have the more typical shape for the locality, with a greater development of one of the terminal faces.

NX27AL0: Quartz
Pineapple-like growth, complex, very three-dimensional, and on a matrix of doubly terminated Quartz crystals. They have good luster and are between translucent and transparent. The specimen is unusual because the crystals are on matrix whereas the vast majority of Berbes Quartzes are floaters.
It comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection (No. 377), whose label we will send to the buyer.

DY37AF8: Quartz
Polycrystalline near parallel growth of Quartz (milky variety) crystals with a morphology that is well-known with the curious appellation “Artichoke quartz”. It has poorly developed prismatic faces and is translucent and bright.
The sample is from an exhausted classic Spanish locality and it is with a handwritten original label that we’ll send to the buyer.

Group of three large translucent crystals with split growths showing smaller crystals, a lot of them doubly terminated, transparent, very bright and practically colorless. The locality, a great European classic, hasn’t supplied collector’s specimens since long ago. The Banská Štiavnica ore district is in the central Slovakia zone of Neogene Volcanic Field.

Quartz veins crop out on the surface of the ground in the Alkiza area, and although they do not usually have large crystals, they can be clean and lustrous. Among the ones I have seen, I chose this one because of the quality of the crystals, very transparent, and because the crystals are a little more separated from each other than is usual there.

This very fine Quartz from the mythical La Gitana mine has a curious history, because it came to my collection very recently. I did not have any pieces of it but with the sale of part of the collection of Santiago Jiménez I became very happy with this one although, as sometimes happens, another better one had been forgotten, and several months after the 'coming out' of that collection I was able to acquire another Quartz from the same mine, and so in the end I am letting this one go.
