NC58R2: Pyromorphite
From an unexpected find in an old lead mining area of Roman time where the Pyromorphites appeared previously, although with a different shape than this specimen. Its habit and color, very distinctive, make this find unmistakable. It has become a Spanish classic. This specimen comes from a first selection of the specimens when they were found.

E26DPC7: Pyromorphite
As well as being much greener than other specimens from this mine this specimen has its own special history. Jordi bought it during the 1994 Munich show from a German collector, but then the following year a major find was made at the same mine. So while the German guy had the right idea, in the end other collectors made the killer find - that's life I guess.

N46DGI7: Pyromorphite
Densely grouped prismatic crystals on matrix. They are doubly terminated and have very well defined faces and edges. The color is very much greener than usual on samples from this location and they have clearer zones on the terminations.

TA96T3: Pyromorphite
Polycrystalline growths whose nucleus shows hollow formations, with geometrical color zoning, clearer in one of the terminations. The crystals, most of them doubly terminated, are implanted on Limonite matrix. We note the locality, quite uncommon..
The sample is from John Marshall’s collection whose card and label we’ll send to the buyer and has been published in the Chinese magazine ‘Mineral Lover’ on page 7 in the volume 9/2011

TXL67ASN1: Pyromorphite (two generations)
A curious Pyromorphite specimen from the Les Farges Mine, formed by two generations of crystals with different habits. The original generation features aerial aggregates of hexagonal crystals with the well-known brown-yellowish color from this mine and hopper growths on leafy Baryte crystals covered with limonite. The second generation consists of much finer, radiating crystals that stand out for their grass-green tone, providing a clear color contrast.

Globular growths of barrel-shaped crystals of Pyromorphite (arsenic-rich variety), with a silky luster and a yellowish green color, on a Quartz matrix. The specimen has been analyzed, with the results showing the arsenic content. We will send the buyer a copy of the analysis.

Globular growths of greenish Pyromorphite crystals forming rosettes, with silky luster, on a Quartz matrix. A second generation of crystals - also Pyromorphite - stands out on top of the older flattened generation, with a hexagonal outline and more yellowish in color. Both generations consist of an arsenic-rich variety of Pyromorphite, something not very common in this deposit. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer of the specimen.

18AFR50: Pyromorphite (variety As-bearing pyromorphite), Wulfenite, Quartz
Globular growths of Pyromorphite crystals forming rosettes, with good luster and a greenish color, on a Quartz matrix. A second generation of crystals - also Pyromorphite - stands out over the more flattened older ones, with a hexagonal outline and a more yellowish color. Both generations consist of the arsenic-rich variety of Pyromorphite, something not very common in the deposit. Finally, a multitude of small crystals of orange Wulfenite adorn the Pyromorphite rosettes. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer of the specimen.

18EFA14: Pyromorphite after Galena, Quartz
Quartz crystals forming a druse with cubic morphologies corresponding to old Galena crystals that have now totally disappeared, and some pseudomorphed by grass-green Pyromorphite crystals partially carpeting the old Galena cube. In other cubic cavities, a second generation of Pyromorphite crystals developed, with well-defined faces and edges and a uniform green-yellow color. From an old French lead mine. Crystals with very well defined faces and edges, and with an intense green color very typical for Les Farges, coating a group of very sharp white Baryte crystals.
A French classic, with an excellent quality, from the Gaudry collection.

Fanlike aggregate of elongated Pyromorphite crystals with hollowed terminations and partially coated and embedded by intense sky blue Plumbogummite. The samples are from a very recent find and have different morphological characteristics compared to those previously known. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

TR69AB7: Pyromorphite and Plumbogummite
Aggregate of Pyromorphite crystals, on matrix, with parallel growths, slight curvatures on their faces and edges and hollow terminations. They have a yellowish green color and are coated by bluish-green Plumbogummite with yellowish shades in some areas. Both the Pyromorphite and the Plumbogummite have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analyses to the buyer.

XM2110NRB: Pyromorphite on Baryte
Very aerial group of Pyromorphite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a tapered habit. Some of the crystals have hoppered terminations, deep green in color for the thicker ones and grass-green for the thinner ones, some of them doubly terminated, on a matrix of snow-white Baryte offering a beautiful contrast of tones. An excellent French classic from the Des Farges mine, which closed in 1981.

Pyromorphite crystal coatings with very well defined faces and edges, some with deep hopper terminations and many of them doubly terminated. The crystals, which are lustrous and have the classic shade of intense green from Des Farges, are on a Baryte matrix.
