A novelty at Tucson 2019. Short prismatic Proustite crystals with excellent, very acute, pyramidal terminations. The crystals, transparent and very bright, have an extraordinary ruby-red color. On a matrix of Calcite crystals.

ML36AE6: Proustite with Calcite
A dendritic cluster of very elongated Proustite crystals that are translucent, bright, have a vivid and intense red color and are on a rocky matrix, with massive Calcite. Proustite crystals are rare at Bouismas, and even moreso with this “Chañarcillo” shape, relatively new here. Furthermore the sample is an excellent miniature, very fine.

Aggregates of very elongated Proustite crystals that are translucent, bright, have a vivid and intense red color and are on a rocky Calcite matrix. Proustite crystals are rare at Bouismas, and even moreso with this “Chañarcillo” shape, relatively new here. Furthermore the sample is excellent.

Groups of Proustite crystals of elongated prismatic habit, with excellent terminations, some of them polycrystalline, in Calcite matrix. These high quality crystals are transparent, brilliant, and with an extraordinary ruby red color with mauve tones, very characteristic of this find.

A novelty at St. Marie 2013. Aggregate, on a matrix coated by small rhombohedral Calcite crystals, of Proustite crystals with very well faces and edges and acute and slightly rounded terminations. They are translucent, very bright and have a very deep red color. These Proustite samples, very different than those from Imiter, undoubtedly are one of the most interesting novelties from Morocco in the last years.

EF27T4: Proustite with Calcite
Very acute dipyramidal crystals, typical for the locality, and one of them clearly dominant. They are extraordinarily bright and show a splendid red color. On Calcite matrix. The sample is included in a box with an old stamp of the Dirección de Geología del Ministerio de Minas e Hidrocarburos de Venezuela, that we'll send to the buyer. A universal classic.

ER87V4: Proustite with Chalcopyrite and Calcite
Aggregate of small prismatic crystals of Proustite. They have an intense red color, they are very bright and are on matrix, with Chalcopyrite and lenticular white crystals of Calcite. An old classic, it comes with a box with the stamp of the Dirección de Geología de la República de Venezuela.

Group of Proustite crystals rich in faces, with prismatic habit and pyramidal terminations. Translucent, with good luster and an intense color, on matrix, with Dolomite. From a German locality considered to be a great classic for the species.

One of the first proustites that arrived from Imiter. They did not have the crystal size that was seen later, but they were very red and with sharp crystals. They were the forerunners.

Imiter's proustites are not widely recognized in the world of collecting because very large crystals are not found there, but they can have high quality, both because of how sharp the crystals are and because of their luster and color, which are both extraordinary in this piece.

Spheroidal aggregates of very bright and very well defined crystals of Proustite that have a very deep red color. The sample has a very "fresh" appearance and it is on a matrix of Quartz and Siderite. Its quality is very high for the locality.

EG91AM1: Proustite with Silver, Acanthite and Quartz
Very sharp, transparent, brilliant Proustite crystals with an intense and vivid color that partially cover hooked Silver wires. On matrix, with white Quartz crystals and small but very sharp octahedral crystals of Acanthite. In Imiter, it is very rare to find free-standing specimens in a vug like this one, which also has the unusual detail of the Silver wire coated with red Proustite crystals.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 43 of the 2020/02 edition.

KP92L9: Pseudoboleite
Excellent specimen, very representative for the species. This sample shows a very sharp pseudocubic crystal with typical stepped growths. Really good color and brilliance. There is a second crystal on the back side, smaller than the main one, but also with the same high quality.
The specimen is from the James Catmur collection and we’ll send the label with it. This specimen was analyzed many years ago, but we didn’t keep analysis documents, that is why we could confirm the species but we can’t send the analysis to the buyer.
This specimen was photographed for the ‘Sainte-Marie Show 2008’ section of the magazine ‘Minéraux et Fossiles’ and appears on page 22 of number 373, as well as on the Hors-série nº 27 "Minéraux du Cuivre" on page 65.

Microcrystalline growths on matrix of this relatively rare phosphate. Its green color is quite variable, darker when more crystalline. The specimen is very rich in Pseudomalachite.
