RQ37F8: Parahopeite
Another classic, but the form of the crystals is much better than most of the other specimens from the Broken Hill Mine (currently Kabwe Mine). Bought in 1948 from Gregory & Bottley, London.

Paratellurite, a rare oxide of tellurium together with colorful Rodalquilarite and small crystals of Jarosite. This specimen comes from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection, whose collection file we will send to the buyer as well as a copy of the analysis.

Very sharp, well defined and bright prismatic crystals on matrix. Registered with the Folch collection number 3754, it was previously from the A. Santos collection (1952).

ER37E6: Paravauxite
Only one mine produces good Paravauxite and none have been found there for years. So when I get hold of one from a collection or Museum I am very pleased (this one comes from the Seaman Museum). Lots of crystals that, while small, have a ‘fresher’ look than is typical with this species. We will send you the original label from the museum.

AB19S9: Paravauxite with Sigloite
An excellent sample with thick prismatic crystals of Paravauxite, on matrix, with very well defined faces and edges, of a slightly greenish yellow color and very bright for the species. In some areas on the sample and near to the Paravauxite crystals are growths of thin prismatic crystals of the rare mineral Sigloite, smaller and orange in color.

MB26I2: Pargasite
Prismatic flattened crystals of very well defined faces and edges, black, on a matrix of the same mineral which contrasts with the white Calcite partially covering the specimen.

2M57: Parisite-(Ce)
Crystal of Parisite-(Ce) with hexagonal cross-section and pyramidal habit, brown in color, with color zoning, well defined faces and edges and terminated on top. From a mine from which Fluorite was extracted in the 1950s but which still yields surprises such as this rare earth specimen.

TM98AJ3: Pearceite-T2ac with Calcite, Pyrite and Chalcopyrite
Group of Pearceite crystals with a thick-tabular shape and very well defined hexagonal contour. They are very bright and are on matrix, with rhombohedral Calcite crystals, small cubic Pyrite crystals, and Chalcopyrite crystals.

TC540MX: Pearceite-T2ac with Proustite and Calcite
Group of Pearceite crystals (polytype T2ac) on matrix, very sharp and lustrous, with a pseudohexagonal contour, associated with well-defined Proustite and Calcite crystals.

MA91AA9: Pearceite-T2ac with Proustite and Rhodochrosite
Very aerial aggregate of very sharp Pearceite crystals (polytype T2ac). They are thick tabular, have a very well defined pseudohexagonal shape, are extraordinarily bright, are on a group of Proustite crystals and are on matrix, with Rhodochrosite. Both the Pearceite and Proustite, as well as the Rhodochrosite, have been analyzed and we will send a copy of the three analyses to the buyer. Even bigger Pearceite crystals exist, very few of them as aesthetic as this one.

Double fan-like growth of white acicular crystals, with good terminations visible with a loupe, and with a satin luster.

EPB96CD6: Pectolite
Group of numerous Pectolite crystals on matrix, of light cream color and transparent, forming fine aerial crystals. This specimen is characterized precisely by its very sharp crystals, something rather uncommon for the species. The locality of origin, the Poudrette Quarry, is known for hosting the best crystallized specimens of this species. The specimen comes from the collections of Nicholas Theis and David H. Garske, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Fanlike acicular-fibrous crystal groups. The color of these crystals varies between pure white blue and the creamy white. The locality and the specimen can be considered to be classics.

Very aerial group of crystals whose faces and edges are very well defined, with sharp terminations and forming parallel growths. They are translucent and have an intense pearly luster. Their color is the best known for the species.

Double group of very sharp Pectolite crystals, all them doubly terminated and with very well defined faces and edges, a snowy white color, pearly luster and partially coated by Calcite and small Grossular aggregates. A fine Canadian classic, of great quality.

Groups of elongated and flattened Pectolite crystals, some of them doubly terminated. They have a snowy white color, pearly luster and have fine coatings of Grossular microcrystals. Of a great quality for the species.
