We will ship the specimen in its original Perky box from the Robert J. Noble collection, which also contains the label, which shows that it was previously in the Melanson collection.

Very aerial parallel growths of sharp Orthoclase (adularia variety) crystals, with good luster and a snow-white color. On matrix. It comes from the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt and has several old labels with it.

RD71M0: Orthoclase (variety adularia) with Clinochlore
Two very sharp and twinned Orthoclase (variety adularia) crystals, with an excellent color and brilliance, with some inclusions of Clinochlore. On a matrix covered by small adularia and Quartz crystals.
The handwritten Folch label states that it was bought directly from a mountain guide in 1957.

22TXM13: Orthoclase (variety adularia), Chlorite
Group of Orthoclase crystals (variety adularia) formed by a main group of sharp flattened crystals intertwined with others of lesser dimensions and all of them completely covered by Chlorite crystals that give the specimen a mossy appearance. It comes from the old collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon, one of a batch of pieces from Pizzo Centrale in Switzerland, an area well known to collectors.

TLB86AP3: Orthoclase after Leucite (variety pseudoleucite)
Floater group of Leucite crystals pseudomorphed by Orthoclase, maintaining the very well defined original trapezohedron forms, and less corroded than is usual in such specimens.

NBF76AO5: Orthoclase twinned
Orthoclase crystal with very sharp faces and edges and a very well defined double Baveno-Manebach twin. The specimen comes from the collection of Santiago Jiménez who, especially in the 1980s and '90s, put together an excellent collection with a very good representation of the mineralogy of northern Spain.

NM58M9: Orthoclase with Albite and Quartz
The pink crystals of Orthoclase are small, very well defined, and have epigenetic growths of Albite. The matrix is also very rich in Albite and has Quartz crystals. The piece is from a well known locality but which has yielded few significant specimens.

JFD21AN6: Orthoclase with Quartz (variety smoky)
Another proof of Lluís Daunis's good work as a field collector. This time with a specimen from the Sierra de Madrid with very clean and 'fresh' Orthoclase crystals and with Quartz crystals (smoky variety), well separated and quite perpendicular to the Orthoclase crystal plate. It should be noted that I have it listed as Orthoclase and not Microcline as per personal communication from the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain, in Madrid.

DV96AH2: Orthoclase with Quartz (variety smoky)
Polycrystalline growths of Orthoclase crystals with very well defined faces and edges. They are very bright and are partially coating a Quartz crystal.
The Daunis collection was, in the 70’s and the 80’s, a reference for the local prospectors of the Barcelona area.

2M12: Orthoclase, Albite, Stilbite-Ca, Quartz
The Strzegom granite quarries are a classic locality for pegmatite minerals. In this case, creamy white Orthoclase crystals are seen on a matrix of bright snowy white Albite crystals. These are accompanied by very dark Quartz crystals (smoky variety) and light brown Stilbita-Ca crystals, making the whole an attractive combination.

The specimen, a rare hydrated calcium, copper and zinc sulfate, is from the type locality for the species and comes from the collection of Alain Martaud, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Crystal of this rare borate of which very few significant samples are known. With very well defined faces and edges, the crystal shows a very well developed hexagonal prism that is almost completely coated by small crystals of red Corundum.

Parallel growths of crystals that are very big and well defined for the species. They have very good color and luster, and they are with Corundum (variety ruby) on matrix. Only a few specimens of this very rare species appeared and there were no further finds so we consider it exceptional.
