RZ64I8: Mimetite with Dolomite
Nice miniature. The crystals consist of the prism and steep dipyramids that form the terminations, their faces and edges are very well defined, the luster is bright and the color is extraordinarily deep so that they strongly contrast with the white Dolomite matrix.

Groups of very acute dipyramidal crystals with very well defined faces and edges and in a Dolomite matrix. An excellent sample, even considering that some of the terminations have broken tips.

Globular growths of small, very sharp, dipyramidal crystals. They have a nice yellow color and are on a matrix with green Duftite.

ELM92ASN3: Mimetite with Duftite and Calcite
Groups of Mimetite crystals on matrix, with tapered shapes and sharp terminations. They are arranged in a star-like formation, bright and more translucent at the terminations. Small greenish-toned Duftite crystals and others crystals of Calcite accompany the specimen, which comes from the mega-classic Tsumeb deposit.

Very acute dipyramidal crystals, some of them doubly terminated, very transparent, bright and of excellent yellow color. On a Galena matrix.
It was originally in the Folch duplicates collection, whose handwritten note will be sent to the buyer with the Silvane collection label.

Group of crystals of considerable length for the species, some of them doubly terminated, with vivid yellow color, translucent and very bright, formed by an elongated prism and the terminal faces of a pyramid.

JBR63AP8: Mimetite with Galena and Baryte
An important discovery in 2015 at the well-known Atrevida mine revealed a unique pocket with coatings of very sharp millimetric Mimetite crystals, translucent, greenish yellow in color, formed by an elongated prism and an acute bipyramid. Mimetite almost completely covers the cubic Galena crystals that are implanted in a matrix covered with aggregates of white lenticular Baryte crystals. The specimen comes from the collection of Andrés Jiménez Shelly.

TC2120NA: Mimetite with Galena and Baryte
Small, very sharp, translucent, greenish yellow crystals of Mimetite, formed by an elongated prism and an acute dipyramid. The Mimetite almost completely covers the matrix, carpeted by aggregates of white lenticular Baryte crystals. The piece comes from a limited find in 2015, which uncovered a single cavity of Mimetite, a species previously known in the mine but not with this well-defined habit.

Sharp millimetric crystals of Mimetite, translucent and with a greenish yellow color, formed by an elongated prism and a sharp dipyramid. The Mimetite more or less completely covers some cubic crystals of Galena implanted in a matrix covered with aggregates of white lenticular Baryte crystals. The specimen also has small thin platy Wulfenite crystals that can be seen on close inspection. This piece comes from a limited find in 2015, which uncovered a single cavity of Mimetite, a species previously known in the mine but not with such a sharp habit.

TT13AK0: Mimetite with Goethite
With a different presentation than other more common Mexican Mimetites, here it forms spheroidal aggregates on a Goethite matrix of crystals with a very sharp pyramidal habit, with good terminations, very bright and with a very intense yellow-orange color.
The piece comes from the collection of José Luis Vallecillo, from Madrid.

Spherical growths of very acute small dipyramidal clear yellow crystals of Mimetite, with Malachite and on matrix. Different than usual for Tsumeb.

MBX16CD6: Mimetite with Mimetite with inclusions of Arsendescloizite
Very special specimen. Three generations of Mimetite coexist, with three different morphologies. Colorless and zoned Mimetite crystals were deposited on the matrix first, followed by another generation of Mimetite crystals with inclusions of Arsendescloizite that give it the showy greenish coloration that can be seen in a good part of the specimen, and finally the largest and best developed more classic Mimetite crystals, yellow in color, and with a crown of crisscrossing crystals at the top of the piece. The specimen has been analyzed due to its complexity, as is often the case with specimens from Tsumeb.

Esthetic group of crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with excellent deep yellow color and good luster and transparency and placed on a matrix rich of Pyrite.

PC96G0: Mimetite with Pyromorphite and Wulfenite
Due to the crystal habit, we thought it could be Mimetite. Analysis indicates that every individual is formed from an inner crystal of Pyromorphite covered, in a second phase, with Mimetite. Completing the specimen, a little orange crystal of Wulfenite stands on the top. As we normally do in these cases we will send the buyer a copy of the analysis.

TF96W8: Mimetite with Quartz and Siderite
Rosette growths of Mimetite crystals with an intense yellow color. They are on matrix, with Quartz and Siderite. Mimetite is a very uncommon species at Pribram and the rare well known samples have been quite old, as is the case of this piece, whose pedigree is testified by the three attached labels and the collection card, that we’ll send to the buyer.

Elongated dipyramidal crystals of Mimetite, some of them doubly terminated, transparent, very lustrous, with an intense lemon-yellow color, on matrix, with rhombohedral Smithsonite crystals. The Smithsonite has been analyzed, we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Tapered Mimetite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, translucent, with good luster and a bright yellow color, covering a layer of bluish globular Willemite growths on matrix. A Tsumeb classic, although with a different association than usual there. It comes from the Ignacio Gaspar Sintes collection (number MIT-4), whose catalogue entry we will send to the buyer.

EQ87AA3: Mimetite with Wulfenite
Botryoidal Mimetite aggregates, on matrix, with an intense and deep yellow color and with implanted laminar Wulfenite crystals that are very bright with a pale yellow color. A sample of very good quality for the Ojuela mine.

Millimeter-sized crystals of Mimetite, sharp, translucent and with a greenish yellow color, formed by an elongated prism and a sharp dipyramid. Mimetite almost completely covers the matrix encrusted by aggregates of white lenticular Baryte crystals. The specimen also has small thin platy Wulfenite crystals that can be found on close inspection. The piece comes from a limited find in 2015, which uncovered a single cavity of Mimetite, a species previously known in the mine but not with this sharp habit.

21NBX11: Mimetite, Galena, Baryte
An important find from the well-known Atrevida mine in the summer of 2015 uncovered a single pocket, with coatings of greenish yellow millimeter-size Mimetite crystals, very sharp, translucent, and formed by an elongated prism and acute dipyramid. The Mimetite more or less completely covers the cubic Galena crystals that are implanted in a matrix covered with aggregates of white lenticular Baryte crystals. Most specimens also had small aggregates of Pyromorphite and lamellar Wulfenite crystals that can be located upon detailed inspection. Mimetite was a previously known species in this mine but not with this very sharp presentation, completely covering the Galena but absent from the Baryte.

With a presentation different from that of other more common Mexican Mimetites, this one forms spheroidal aggregates, on a Goethite matrix, of crystals with a very acute pyramidal habit, with good terminations, with a bright luster and an intense yellow-orange color, highlighting the color contrast with the darker limonitic matrix.
