Aggregate of very sharp Lazulite crystals, twinned, very shiny, with an intense luster and a deep blue color, on matrix with translucent light brown rhombohedral Siderite crystals, and small water-clear Quartz crystals. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate. Some of the best known examples of this species have been found in this remote area, accessible only during the summer months as they are under snow and ice the rest of the year.
