Crystals of Henmilite, a rare hydrated borate of Ca and Cu, on an Olshanskyite matrix. They are very sharp and are very intense blue in color despite being partially covered by a thin layer of a mixture of minerals, among which Calcite predominates and among which there is also a currently unidentifiable copper silicate, and it can not be ruled out that it could be a new mineral phase.
The analyses carried out attest to this mixture of species in the coating. We will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.
The specimen is from the type locality for the species.
