MA8AC7: Gold on Quartz
Arborescent Gold aggregates of very well defined octahedral crystals with hoppered growths and small cube faces, on a Quartz matrix. One of the best Peruvian Gold samples we have ever seen, as they are rarely crystallized. We also note that the Quartz hasn’t been acid-etched to dissolve it and expose the Gold.

Dendritic and lamellar growths of native Gold on a Quartz matrix. The gold is very lustrous and has small cubic subhedral or hypidiomorphic shapes. The quality is higher than usual for this deposit.

Very aerial group with typical flat crystals of Eagle's Nest Golds, especially numerous in this case, well-defined and of considerable size. With a nice Quartz matrix to add charm to the sample.

This Gold, on massive Quartz matrix and quite rich for the locality, has a mainly leafy shape, with good crystallization on the lower part of the aggregate and a skeletal growth with a well marked parallel striation on its base.

EL10F0: Gold with Calcite
The laminar crystals of Gold are peppered across the matrix, which is rich in Calcite, in this specimen from an unusual locality. In fact I cannot recall ever having seen another one from this mine – so a rarity.

Dendritic growths of Gold, on matrix, with Covellite, and Malachite and Chrysocolla concretions. This uncommon combination of Gold with the different shades of green of Malachite and Chrysocolla is very aesthetic.

For a few months good Golds related by Malachite and other species such as Chrysocolla and Covellite were found in the Bleida Far West mine that began work in 2005 but of which there were no was known specimens of Gold with this quality. As you can see they are very aesthetics and different from what was known so far.

Wide (for the locality) leafy growths of gold with a vivid luster and intense yellow color that contrasts with the green color of the copper salts on the matrix.
The sample was previously in the John H. Marshall collection and has a considerable pedigree, supported by joined labels and cards that we’ll send to the buyer.

MV88AK9: Gold with minor Palladium
Dendritic growth of flattened octahedral Gold crystals with very well defined faces and edges. Taking into account the frequent debates about Venezuelan Golds, we decided to analyze the specimen. The analysis showed a Palladium content of around 0.5%, significant but insufficient to consider it “Palladian Gold”. We will send the buyer a copy of the analysis.
