Very sharp polycrystalline Genthelvite growth with a neatly tetrahedral shape and dark brown color. It is on a matrix with Quartz crystals and extremely flattened Calcite crystals (papierspat). Analyzed by Raman, the sample is Genthelvite both on its surface and its interior. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

TP26AH6: Geocronite
Very sharp, aerial and complete crystal of Geocronite, a rare lead sulphosalt, uncommon in such a large and great quality crystal. The crystal is free of damage, shows echeloned growths on one of its sides and is unusually bright. The lateral side on the third image is rough but complete, not broken.
We’ll send the sample in its original Perkin’s box from the R.J. Noble collection, also containing the collection label.

Geocronite crystals with very sharp crystal forms and with an intense luster that distinguishes it from the darker matte Galena which accompanies it on the matrix, along with several green and transparent octahedral crystals of Fluorite.

CA14AJ7: Germanite
Typical granular Germanite aggregate with a polished surface to better appreciate the characteristics of this rare copper, iron and germaniun sulphosalt. With a pinkish gray color and is with Renierite that has a more intense pink color, and black Tennantite. The sample is from the type locality for the species.

JFD156AO7: Gersdorffite
Except in its top specimens, Gersdorffite is not a species that usually gives showy pieces. This one, although modest, has the elegance of having sharp crystals, hanging from a kind of pinnacle of another Gersdorffite crystal which, although coarser, makes the other crystals look better.

From a recent find this same year. The octahedral crystals, with very well defined faces and edges, have a considerable size for the species and are unusually fresh and bright. They are on matrix, with Calcite that has not been acid-etched.

A novelty at Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2011. Very aerial group of sharp octahedral crystals of Gersdorffite. They are bright and are on a matrix of Calcite, with thin coatings of slightly green Annabergite.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 29 in number 2011/2

EY89Y2: Gersdorffite with Calcite and Quartz
Very sharp octahedral crystal, of a large size for the species. It is extraordinarily bright, a very uncommon quality for the species, and it is on a Quartz matrix. It has a small contact on one of the lower vertices and the whole back side.

Large group of octahedral Gersdorffite crystals of good size, very sharp, isolated and lustrous. On a Nickeline matrix, which guarantees stability to the whole piece, and small green Annabergite coatings. Simply exceptional.

RQ61AE6: Getchellite with Realgar and Orpiment
Masses of partial crystals and foliation surfaces of Getchellite that have a very intense vermillion color. They are on matrix with crystalline Realgar that has a more bloody red color, and with radial leafy Orpiment aggregates.
The sample is from the Joaquín Folch duplicates collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

A novelty at Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2011. Sharp and very well individualized white dipyramidal crystals of Gismondine, one of them clearly dominant, with very well defined faces and edges. On matrix, with bluish Calcite, Epidote and Chlorite.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 29 in number 2011/2

Botryoidal growths with intense metallic-iridescent patinas, very bright and showing strongly contrasting coloration, with dominant red, yellowish and orange shades. These growths contrast with a later phase with smaller and grayish botryoidal forms. The sample is from a famous 2007 find.

NC9AM1: Goethite
Compared to other Goethites in southern Spain, those from the La Lapilla mine stand out for their delicate lattice growths and very fine arched structures, sometimes almost filamentous, which adds to the quality of their soft iridescence, with pastel blue, ocher, and reddish, although greyish metallic reflections predominate.

DD62AH2: Goethite
Extraordinarily bright botryoidal aggregate with some iridescent areas with predominant yellow and blue shades. The sample is from a locality considered a Spanish classic for Goethite, but where such bright samples with iridescent surfaces were quite rare.
The Daunis collection was, in the 70’s and the 80’s, a reference for the local prospectors of the Barcelona area.
