SX89AJ0: Galena with Siderite, Calcite, Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite
Cubo-octahedral Galena crystals, with curvatures and very well defined dissolution shapes. They are extraordinarily bright, are with white rhombohedral Calcite crystals and are partially coated by spheroidal Siderite aggregates and small Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite crystals.
The sample was in the Desmond Sacco collection whose label we will send to the buyer.

Group of very well defined cubic crystals of Galena, partially covered by globular aggregates of brown Siderite, white Dolomite and Chalcopyrite. Today the Troya Mine is flooded and collapsed.

TQ14AF7: Galena with Sphalerite
Cubo-octahedral Galena crystals on a rocky matrix with very well defined faces and edges. They are very bright and are partially coated by aggregates of small complex and very bright Sphalerite crystals.
The sample is from the collection of La Unión area minerals of Alain Martaud, whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

ER97AL8: Galena with Sphalerite
Octahedral crystals of Galena, well outlined and with very marked geometric growth figures. On a matrix of small complex crystals of Sphalerite with a very deep red color. Possibly one of the best specimens from this specific find in a not very well known mine.

TV86K4: Galena with Sphalerite
Group of cubic crystals that show triangular faces at vertices corresponding to the octahedron. Some of the cubic faces show hollow structures and forms of dissolution. At the top of the sample there are very bright Sphalerite crystals.

Pyramid, Pyramid! screamed the Romanian gipsy seller trying to show me the fabulous (for him) quality of this specimen. After a long discussion, I finally purchased it, attracted by its different shape.

Crystals of Galena are very bright and they have a curious flattened habit and seem to form a mosaic contrasting with white Calcite. Some Sphalerite crystals bless the piece.
