Group of Fluorite crystals with cubic habit and very well marked, transparent, lustrous polycrystalline growths, with shades between deep blue and violet and with intense geometric color zoning, on a matrix of small Quartz crystals. From a locality not well known for quality fluorites.

A group of large Fluorite crystals heavily coated by Quartz, somewhat larger than usual for this locality, giving them an unusual, yet beautiful appearance.

TBX86AQ0: Fluorite with Quartz
Fluorite crystals with a flattened shape, between transparent and translucent, and on a matrix of thick Quartz crystals. Recent work at this little-known historical mine has yielded some interesting specimens like this one.

Druse of Fluorite crystals with a cubic habit, sharp, transparent, with good luster and a light blue color with geometric color zoning with violet tones near the edges. With partial coatings of very transparent Quartz crystals.

SV3190NTF: Fluorite with Quartz
From the San Roque Mine, a locality that is little known outside of Spain but which occasionally yields quite showy specimens. In this case, not so much for the Fluorite but for the 'fencepost'-style Quartz that provides a beautiful contrast. From the collection of Miguel David Martínez, number 1630, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Very sharp Fluorite crystals, transparent, with good luster and geometric color zoning, intense on the edges. On matrix, with small white Quartz crystals. The specimen is accompanied by an old Danny A. Michel label that we will send to the buyer.

JFD108AO3: Fluorite with Quartz
This piece requires explanation. What might seem to be just another Fluorite from La Viesca always intrigued me because of its age and its somewhat different appearance from others in that area. I sold it at the time to Alain Martaud and, when he sold part of his collection, I got it back and, still intrigued by it, was showing it to José Ramón García, who, without hesitation, solved the enigma. For him, without a doubt, it is from the famous Aurora Mine in the same town of Caravia (currently buried under the municipal soccer field)

Druse of sharp Fluorite crystals, translucent, with good luster and a pale green color, on matrix. The specimen comes from a local find that produced very few well-crystallized specimens.

Border of Fluorite crystals with hexahedral shape, very sharp, transparent, with excellent luster and an intense yellow color, on matrix, with white Quartz crystals and small Pyrite crystals.

One of the first fluorites to be seen from El Hamman, this piece found and purchased in the year 1985 already pointed to what that mine later demonstrated: intense color, extraordinary fluorescence under UV light, and staggered growths, often fringed by crystals of Quartz.

Two very sharp cubic Fluorite crystals, isolated and on matrix. Transparent, colored an intense and uniform yellow, with darker reddish geometric inclusions.

SV2220NPX: Fluorite with Quartz
Group of Fluorite crystals finely beveled by dodecahedron faces, transparent, with good luster and an intense and uniform blue color with lilac tones and geometric color zoning. They grew on a limestone matrix with a layer formed by white Quartz crystals. From the prolific La Viesca mine, which closed since 2021.

The Josefa-Veneros vein, so generous, whose pieces always have 'something' that makes them very distinguishable and elegant. In this case the Fluorite is associated with relatively large crystals of Quartz, which is not so common there.

Fluorite crystals with cube shapes clearly beveled by the dodecahedron. Very transparent and lustrous and colorless, although with very slightly violet tones. On matrix, with coatings of small Quartz crystals.

Fluorite crystals with cube shapes clearly bevelled by the dodecahedron, very transparent and lustrous, almost colorless, with slightly violet tones and on Quartz matrix.

NF27AM7: Fluorite with Quartz
Cubic crystals on matrix, one of them clearly dominant, with a much more developed dodecahedron bezel on two of the crystal edges, transparent, lustrous, colorless, on a matrix with Quartz crystals. Inside the main crystal you can see some curious “clouds” that we believe may be inclusions of colloidal Quartz.
