Group of Fluorite crystals with two very marked growth phases with a yellow polycrystalline exterior and a violet interior. With characteristics different from the usual in better known specimens from the Chaillac mining area. A specimen rescued from the past from the Les Redoutières Mine, less well known than other mines in the same mining district.

SM290NHA: Fluorite
Fluorite crystals of cubic habit beveled by dodecahedron faces, polycrystalline and stepped. The crystals, transparent and lustrous, have a fine geometric color zoning with dominant violet tones on the outside and an azure-blue nucleus.

TP28AH0: Fluorite
A novelty at Tucson 2018. A group of Fluorite crystal cubes between translucent and transparent, with a very deep green color and marine-blue dichroism clearly visible in sunlight. The locality is totally new and, even though Madagascar is a well-known mineralogical paradise, there were no other references to Fluorite occurrences other than the small crystals included in Quartz from Mandronarivo.

Group of crystals with a very sharp cubic habit, translucent, with good luster and a uniform green color, with a last phase of growth of a more yellow color. From the ‘Figuier’ vein, which is reputed to have produced the best quality Fluorites in this deposit. A French classic that comes from the Alain Martaud collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

It is an old piece and therefore its appearance and quality are different from what was found later in the mine. Excellent for the locality.

EE49AE5: Fluorite
Aggregate, on matrix, of cubic Fluorite crystals that are between transparent and translucent, very bright, with white inclusions, and they have an intense green color that slightly changes to violet in sunlight. The crystals are twinned and the dominant one is flattened, with a curious parallelepiped shape.
The sample is with a label of the Gilles Emringer collection that we’ll send to the buyer.
