Group of crystals with cubic habit along with highly developed unusual forms of the tetrahexahedron. Transparent, lustrous, and uniform pale blue. The specimen comes from the Pedro Hernández collection and is from the San Lino mine, the precursor to the later Jaimina and Emilio mines located in the same area.

Group of Fluorite crystals with clearly dominant cube faces markedly beveled by the dodecahedron. Very transparent and lustrous with an intense, deep and uniform bluish violet color.
This modern Spanish classic comes from the Miguel David Martínez collection (number 520), whose label we will send to the buyer.

GL27AK0: Fluorite
Group of two sharp crystals of cubic habit with curious forms of dissolution on its base, very bright and with a pale green color whose transparency allows one to see a polycrystalline phantom growth that stands out for the intense violet color on the edges. The sample is from the Casado Margolles collection (number FRM 68) whose record we will send to the buyer.

ND96AH2: Fluorite
A crystal with polycrystalline growths and rich with skeletal and dissolution shapes, translucent, bright, and with a very intense and deep violet color. We note the scarcity of samples from the Codeceira mine. A picture of this sample has been published in the article “Vale das Gatas Mining District” in Mineral Up magazine (2017/1, pg. 21), it is from the collection of Pedro Alves, the article’s author, whose samples have been used to illustrate it. We’ll send the collection label to the buyer.

EXL27CD4: Fluorite
Cubic Fluorite crystals with slightly rounded edges and vertices, colorless, transparent, very shiny and on matrix, associated with several white lamellar Baryte crystals. The inclusions in the Fluorite crystals are hydrocarbons of organic origin and, in the case of this piece, they stand out due to the water-clear transparency of the Fluorite crystals. From a classic Asturian mine from which it is increasingly difficult to obtain quality specimens, this piece comes via the collection of Thomas von Criegern.

GE27AK0: Fluorite
Group of crystals with a very unusual double habit, with two growth phases very marked by the difference in color. A first one that forms a very intense and bright violet octahedral interior, only visible because the second phase, whitish in color and somewhat less bright, with the shapes of the cube and octahedron, allows the tips of the former octahedron to stand out, like small pyramids on a plane. The sample is from the Casado Margolles collection (number FRM 270) whose record we will send to the buyer.

TW27AH0: Fluorite
A novelty at Tucson 2018. A group of translucent Fluorite crystal cubes with a very deep green color and marine-blue dichroism, clearly visible in sunlight. The locality is totally new and, even though Madagascar is a well-known mineralogical paradise, there were no references to Fluorite occurrences other than the small crystals included in Quartz from Mandronarivo.

SV2240TRM: Fluorite
Aggregate of Fluorite crystals of complex crystallography where cubic and tetrahexahedron forms dominate, with geometric color zoning trending towards mauve on the edges of the crystals, very deep in some areas, and yellowish green tones towards the center of the crystals. From a classic deposit for Asturian mineralogy, the San Lino cut, closed in 1986. The specimen comes from the Alain Martaud collection.

JFD125AO4: Fluorite
Le Burc is one of the three localities in the triad of French blue fluorites, together with Le Beix and Puy-Saint-Gulmier. Obviously this piece does not have a particularly intense blue, but at the time I liked its transparency, perfection and, why not, its color, since although it is far from the electric blue of other fluorites in that triad, it is nevertheless fine and elegant.
