Druse with very sharp Enargite crystals on a matrix of massive Enargite and Pyrite. The crystalline forms, a finely striated prism and the pinacoid, are very bright. An American classic.

18TY14: Enargite, Chalcocite, Chalcopyrite, Calcite
Short prismatic Enargite crystals partially coated by iridescent Chalcopyrite crystals. These are covered by a multitude of lustrous Chalcocite crystals with a pseudohexagonal outline and brilliant metallic reflections. And finally the piece is adorned with scattered white Calcite crystals. The specimen comes from the old Legat Strauss collection in Berlin, whose label we will send to the buyer.

Fan-shaped groups of acicular Enstatite crystals, translucent, with great luster and a golden yellow color, on a matrix of ultrabasic igneous rock. A Japanese classic rarely seen in the mineralogical world.

Centered growths of elongated and flattened Eosphorite crystals with good terminations, transparent, lustrous, with a brown color with intense and uniform violet tones, on a Quartz matrix. A dense growth of prismatic crystals forming fan groups. Color is very intense. The base is a group of pink crystals of Quartz.

TD67H3: Eosphorite on Quartz with Feldspar
The crystals of Eosphorite are prismatic and doubly terminated and are more individualized than usual. The base is a doubly terminated crystal of Smoky Quartz. At one end it is progressively milky and at the opposite end it has a crown of pink crystals. The specimen is completed by a fine white matrix of Feldspar (probably Orthoclase)

TB89AM9: Eosphorite with Greifensteinite and Quartz
Centered groups of Eosphorite crystals, transparent, lustrous, brown with orange tones, on a matrix of Quartz crystals. Associated are multiple small rosette growths of Greifensteinite, a rare calcium iron phosphate. Both the Eosphorite and Greifensteinite have been analyzed and we will send a copy of both analyses to the buyer.

Elongated crystals of Eosphorite, many of them doubly terminated, with very well defined crystalline forms and easily visible terminations, transparent, bright, with an intense and uniform brown color with violet shades, on a matrix of crystallized rose Quartz.

Fine prismatic crystals of Eosphorite with sharp crystal forms. Transparent, with good luster and salmon-yellow color, on a feldspathic matrix with Quartz crystals and mica sheets. An old German classic from an important European collection.

MH54R8: Eosphorite with Quartz, Quartz (variety rose) and Muscovite
A real Brazilian "old timer" (collected in the year 1975), the piece is notable for its aerial growth. On a leafy aggregate of very well defined crystals of Muscovite and flattened white crystals of Quartz, there is a group of pink crystals of Quartz of intense color and luster, all this partially coated by small crystals of Eosphorite, most of them doubly terminated, transparent, bright and with a deep color.

16TTR86: Eosphorite, Roscherite, Quartz (variety rose quartz)
Druse of Quartz crystals (rose quartz variety) with polycrystalline terminations, good luster and pink color, on the back of the piece. The front exhibits a multitude of greenish Roscherite crystals, a rare phosphate of calcium, manganese and beryllium. This combo is completed by a multitude of prismatic, doubly terminated and lustrous light brown crystals of Eosphorite, a manganese and aluminum phosphate of secondary origin in phosphate-bearing granitic pegmatites. This specimen is a good example of that.

TQ49AF2: Ephesite
A group of very well-defined crystals on matrix. They are bright and have a very intense color. Ephesite, a phyllosilicate from the Mica (Group), is a very rare species — even more so in crystals of this size and quality. The specimen came from Charlie Key.

EP66AG9: Epididymite with Aegirine
A single floater crystal that has extraordinarily well defined faces and edges. It is translucent, white and has small black acicular crystals on its base. Due to the singularity and perfection of the crystal it has been analyzed to positively identify the species. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

EB66AF5: Epididymite with Aegirine
A novelty at Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2017. Very unusual parallel growth, on matrix, of two very well defined elongated crystals (the most common shape is platy and poorly defined), partially doubly terminated, with very well developed faces and edges and with excellent terminal faces that are transparent-translucent and quite bright, with small Aegirine and Quartz crystals.

ED78P9: Epididymite with Aegirine
A museum sample, both for its size (enormous for the species) and for its quality. It consists of an aggregate of large white laminar crystals of Epididymite with a satiny luster and with fine black crystals of Aegirine. The sample has been carefully analyzed to differentiate it from Eudidymite, also present at the locality. We’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

2T08: Epidote
Fan-like aggregate of crystals with a very fine prismatic habit and with sharp pyramidal terminations, very lustrous, and with some small Quartz crystals. Both the morphology of the crystal and the type of aggregate are different from what is normal in Prince of Wales specimens.

A sheaf-like aggregate of elongated Epidote crystals with good polycrystalline terminations, translucent, lustrous and with a very deep green color.

Fanlike aggregate of crystals with a very elongated prismatic shape and acute and very bright pyramidal terminations. With some small Quartz crystals. Both the crystal morphology and the type of aggregate are different than usual for samples from Prince of Wales Island.
