RN96H7: Elbaite "Watermelon"
Prismatic crystal with an excellent termination. The color zonation is very well marked with the inner core between red and mauve and the bluish green exterior. Group of Elbaite crystals (indicolite variety) forming parallel growths with very sharply pointed polycrystalline pyramidal terminations. The crystals are transparent, with great luster, mostly blue but with pink tones in the lower part.
