AG69P9: Doubly terminated Hübnerite with Quartz
Parallel polycrystalline growth of doubly terminated and very well defined crystals with intense red reflections, an excellent luster and it is enhanced by being with Quartz crystals.
The specimen is from the James Catmur collection. We will send both, the label from Catmur collection and the label from Silvane collection.

TH16AI9: Doubly terminated Malachite after Azurite
This is a single, sharp, doubly terminated floater of Malachite pseudomorphous after Azurite, apparently simple, but the polycrystalline growths are full of interesting details.

EB91I2: Doubly terminated Neptunite on Natrolite
Just a classic. The crystals, prismatic, have excellent luster and they are free of damage. They are doubly terminated and very well positioned on the Natrolite matrix.

JA17I7: Doubly terminated Quartz
A splendid specimen. The crystals, even though not being very tall, are very clear and bright, with well-defined faces and edges, doubly-terminated and with some hydrocarbon inclusions and they airily sit on a very esthetic matrix.

MB57K9: Doubly terminated Quartz
Doubly terminated Quartz crystal, with a short prism, very clear and brilliant, contrasting with a dark matrix. Very popular specimens at French mineral shows, where were called “Diamants de la Drôme” (Drôme Diamonds).

RL46L9: Doubly terminated Quartz
Group of doubly terminated Quartz crystals, one of them clearly dominant, with excellent transparency and good brilliance. The crystal that serves as a base seems broken but is undamaged, with curious face growths.
The piece is accompanied by a handwritten label from the Folch collection.

Doubly terminated floater. The color is deeper at the terminations, whose luster is also more intense than in the other faces. The crystal grew on other small crystals of Quartz (amethyst)

Parallel growth of two prismatic, doubly-terminated crystals. They are well developed, of an intense color and simple forms, growing as a scepter on a little matrix of white Quartz.

Floater and doubly terminated loop-like growth with a thin central zone and progressive widening toward the terminations, typical with prase Quartz from this locality.
The sample is from the Roy Foerster collection (num. 1225), whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

RD13M2: Doubly terminated Quartz (variety smoky)
Group of Quartz crystals, one of them dominant, doubly terminated and with very sharp faces and edges. Although its uniform smoky tones are not very deep, the transparency is excellent. In the Folch collection card one can read that this sample, collection Nr. 4.147, was obtained by exchange in 1950 with Herr Sulzbach from Zurich (Switzerland).

RB97H0: Doubly terminated Quartz faden with Albite
Parallel growth of doubly terminated crystals with a very evident “faden”. On the base of the piece there is a snowy white crystal of adularia, very bright. The label has the note: Com (comprado / acquired) Sulzbach. Zürich 1947.

AT26N8: Doubly terminated Quartz with Arsenopyrite and Muscovite
Group of doubly terminated crystals of Quartz, one of them clearly dominant, with many inclusions. Partially coated by Arsenopyrite crystals and leafy aggregates of Muscovite.

NM87P2: Doubly terminated Quartz with Baryte and inclusions
Two very bright and well defined doubly terminated crystals with abundant inclusions and with Baryte. The secondary crystal is slightly flattened by an overgrowth of two opposite faces of one of the terminal rhombohedrons. The sample is from a recent find of a big geode in the locality. Unfortunately only a few specimens were saved and complete. The Emilio mine is very well known for colorless Fluorite crystals but Quartz is very uncommon there.
This specimen was photographed for the ‘Sainte-Marie Show 2009’ section of the magazine ‘Minéraux et Fossiles’ and appears on page 17 of number 383.

TD16H8: Doubly terminated Quartz with Calcite
The crystal is doubly terminated and has the short prism typical of the locality. It is transparent and bright and has attractive inclusions of hydrocarbons and the beginning of “windows” on some of its terminal faces. We call attention on the position of the crystal on the matrix that enhances the esthetics of the specimen as well as increases its value because specimens of Quartz with matrix are pretty unusual in Berbes.

RQ26X8: Doubly terminated Quartz with chlorite and adularia
Floater and complete crystal with two very different terminations. One of them has simple forms and it is completely coated by chlorite, while the opposite is free of coatings and shows a parallel polycrystalline growth.
